NORTH TABHXTOWN, N*Y<,
Beceiaber 22$ 1953
The Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of fforth T&rrytcwn
N«Y:«, held a meeting on the above date to consider the application
of Sleepy Hollow Restorations, Inc. fox* a variance to permit the
use of the property in Section 14, Block 2Bt Parcels 24 mid 2Bh in
ubnneotion with Historic Restorations*
The following lv>/?j*d members were present;
Edward 8* Cummings, Chairman
Neil Oollogly
Edward Koval
David Page
Anthony Spina? Absent
The discussion covered information brought out at the public
heading and aleo supplemental briefs by Mr* «F. Reebaek, Attorney
fox* the Restoration and Mr* J* Hodgers on behalf of the Phillpse
Mano? Improvement Association,
The Improvement Association objected to a fenoe around the
propertys exhibits on the -oroperty under question and requested
the" board to define replacement of the building with regards to
type'and structural exterior appearance*
The board felt that the limitation as to the type of a
replacing structure would probably come under the the present
code
if and when the application for a replacing structure was filed*
The question of installing a fence was discussed and it was
the consensus of op:.--ion that the item was not within the Jurist
diction of the board to approve or disapprove.
However, the matter of exhibits was covered in detail
and the members felt that a permanent exhibit would not be.in.
hdsplng with the intent of the Zone but agreed to the use of the
property for an occasional exhibit*
The variance, a copy attached* was passed unanimously and
authorised by the Board of Appeals as of this date*
