                  <text>A Regular Meeting of the Architectural Review Board was held on
Wednesday, September 25, 1991 in Village Hall, North Tarrytown,
New York.

Mr. Arvan opened the meeting at 8:05 PM.
IN THE MATTER OF ORLANDO RAMIREZ.
TARRYTOWN, NEW YORK

75 CLINTON STREET.

NORTH

This is a proposal for a new driveway.
The contractor for Mr. Ramirez presented drawings and photos of
the proposed driveway. The existing porch deck will be taken down
half way up the house.
The Building Inspector stated that a
drain should be put at the bottom of the driveway with a grate
covering it for proper drainage. Also, a curb cut permit is to be
obtained from the Village.
After brief discussion, Mr. Menendez moved to approve the
proposed driveway as drawn, seconded by Mr. Falasca and motion
carried.
IN THE MATTER OF LARRY RODRIGUES. 89-91 CORTLANDT STREET. NORTH
TARRYTOWN. NEW YORK
Larry Rodrigues presented drawings and photos of the proposed new
stores at the above address. He stated that the structure of the
building is sound. The inside of the building needs renovation.
Mr. Rodrigues commented that he needs approval for the
renovations, signs and awnings.
Discussion ensued on the color of the shutters and awnings and
window trim so that they would all tie in together. The sign
would be the same as the one that is currently at 180 Valley
Street building.
Mr. Menendez made a motion to approve green awnings and shutters,
six over six windows, white window frames, lettering on sign and
awnings will be 10" high letters. The signs will have a green
background with white raised letters. Motion was seconded by Mr.
Falasca and carried.

�IN THE MATTER OF OFF BROADWAY DELI. 84 BEEKMAN AVENUE. NORTH
TARRYTOWN. NEW YORK
Mr. Donovan came before the Board for approval for awning and new
storefront. The storefront was damaged when a car crashed through
the window. Mr. Donovan presented plans to the Board for the new
glass storefront and awning which will be the full width of the
building. In order to maintain uniformity, the plans will match
the new building next door which has an aluminum bottom half.
Mr. Falasca made a motion to approve the storefront plans as
presented, seconded by Mr. Slavin and plans were approved.
IN THE MATTER OF CHESTNUT STREET TOWNHOUSES
This is for the approval of two signs, one a hanging sign
attached to the front of the building which reads " Chestnut
Place Townhouses" and one for a portable " For Sale" sign to be
placed in front of the property.
The representative for the
townhouses could not be present at the meeting but left a drawing
and an actual portable sign which he proposed to use with the
Board.
After discussion, Mr. Menendez made a motion to approve the
temporary proposed hanging sign and the portable sign for ninety
days, color to be maroon letters on grey background. Motion was
seconded by Mr. Falasca and motion carried.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Mr. Falasca moved to approve the minutes of August 28th as
written, seconded by Mr. Menendez and motion carried.
There being no further business, meeting was adjourned.
