Present: I Mayor Philip E. Zegarelli Deputy Mayor Mario DiFelice Sandra Morales Maria DeMilia-Powers Ken Wray Kay Grala Trustees Also Present: Dwight H. Douglas, Village Administrator Robert Ponzini, Village Counsel Joel Sachs, Special Counsel David Smith, Planning Consultant Sean McCarthy, Building Inspector Mayor Zegarelli called the meeting to order at 6:45 p.m. On a motion of Trustee DiFelice, seconded by Trustee DeMilia-Powers the Board went into executive session to discuss litigation. Attending the first part of the executive session was the Village's special labor counsel, Vincent Toomey. At 7:10 p.m. representatives of the General Motors Corporation, accompanied by their counsel attended the meeting to review the status of pending litigation on the redevelopment of the GM site. At 8:05 p.m., on a motion of Trustee DeMilia-Powers, seconded by Trustee DiFelice the board came out of executive session into work session. No actions were taken during the executive session. At 8:50 p.m. the Mayor called the board into Special Session. On a motion of Trustee Grala, seconded by Trustee Morales and subject to the review, and approval of the Mayor, the subject department heads, the trustee subcommittee chairs and the Village Treasurer the warrant of January 15th, 2008 and any vouchers as consolidated in said warrant were unanimously approved. The North East Westchester Special Recreation invoice was held over for additional information and discussion. The attached resolutions were acted upon as shown. At 9:05 p.m. on a motion of Trustee DiFelice, seconded by Trustee Morales and carried unanimously the Board went into executive session to discuss personnel. At 9:15 p.m. on a motion of Trustee DeMilia-Powers, seconded by Trustee DiFelice and carried unanimously, the board came out of executive session and adjourned the meeting. Douglas, Vr I �Meeting Date: Resolution #: 01/15/08 01/04/08 Resolution of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Sleepy Hollow Authorizing Execution of Contract to Digitize Meeting Minutes WHEREAS, the minutes of the meetings of the Board of Trustees, Planning Board, Architectural Review Board, Zoning Board of Appeals, Waterfront Advisory Committee and Fire Prevention Board are currently in paper form with no index, such that accessing particular entries can be problematic and time-consuming; and WHEREAS, the Village of Sleepy Hollow wishes to scan and digitize the meeting minutes most frequently used to improve access, enhance efficiency and expand risk management; and WHEREAS, the Village has been awarded a $6,958.00 grant by the New York State Archives to fund this project; and WHEREAS, Hudson Microimaging submitted the most competitive proposal to execute this project and has a history of satisfactory performance. NOW, THEREFORE, BE I T RESOLVED that Philip Zegarelli, Mayor of the Village of Sleepy Hollow, is hereby authorized and directed to execute the digital scanning agreement with Hudson Microimaging for an amount not to exceed $6,958.00; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor is herein authorized to take any and all such steps as are necessary to effectuate the intent of this resolution. Moved: Trustee Grala Seconded: Trustee Morales Vote: Unanimous �62.^ Meeting Date: Resolution #: 01/15/08 01/05/08 Be it resolved that the Board of Trustee does hereby confirm the Mayor's appointment of Daniel Calabro, 12 Colonial Road, Peekskill, New York 10566 to the position of Lead Maintenance Mechanic (Automotive) at an annual salary of $55,568.04 for eighteen months which is 85% of the total salary of $65,374.17 effective January 17, 2008. I Said appointment is subject to a probationary period of twelve to fifty-two weeks and the approval of Westchester County Department of Human Resources. NOW/THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor's action to reappoint and appoint certain persons to Committees as shown on the attached list is hereby ratified.
