REGULAR MEETING

A regular meeting of the Architectural Review Board
was held on the above date at Village Hall, North Taryytown,
New York.
PRESENT:

Robert Barstow, Acting Chairman
Marion Reilly
Brian Slavin
Louis Falasca

ABSENT:

Frank Arvan
Juan Menendez

Acting Chairman Barstow called the meeting to order
at 8:00 P.M.
1.

Applicant: Peter &amp; Michelle Castro-Amoco Sign Review.

Mr. Barstow stated that according to the original
plan the canopy was to be blank.
Mr. Castro stated he was not aware "Amoco" would
be on the canopy until after the canopy was installed, therefore
he was requesting a variance.
After a discussion, Mr. Falasca moved, seconded by
Mr. Slavinc that a variance be granted to Mr. Castro as requested.
Unanimously carried.
2.

Applicant: Doninick and Diane Gagliardi-22 Bedford RoadReplace wood with brick under porch.

Mr. Gagaliardi presented pictures of 22 Bedford Road
and explained what they were going to do. The wood portion is
rotting and they would like to replace it with brick.
After a discussion, Mr. Falasca moved, seconded by
Ms. Reilly to grant permission to Mr. Gagliari to continue on
with the brick work, and to replace the wood. Unanimously
carried.
Mr. Chuck Pateman stated he was appearing before the
board to informally present plans for his project "Bedford Park"
to be built on Bedford Road.
Mr. Barstow stated he would have to present plans to
Mr. Margotta, the Building Inspector who would in turn request
the Board to review them.
Mr. Pateman stated he appeared with site plan as his
extension runs out the middle of June and was anxious to start
building condos as soon as possible.
Mr. Falasca stated that he should file six sets of
plans with the office, at least ten days prior to the next meeting, u

�-2Mr. Pateman stated that he has met all conditions to
build condos and would be applying for a building permit.
Mr. Barstow stated the Board could not make any
comments or give opinions, as this was not an official
presentation.
Mr. Slavin moved, seconded by Mr. Falasca that the
minutes of the April 22nd, 1992 meeting be approved as submitted.
Unanimously carried.
There being no further business to come before the
meeting, Mr. Falasca moved, seconded by Ms. Reilly that the
same be duly adjourned. Unanimously carried.
