                  <text>REGULAR MEETING

NORTH TARRYTOWN, N.Y.
July 22nd, 1992

A regular meeting of the Architectural Review Board
was held on the above date at Village Hall, North Tarrytown,
New York.
PRESENT:

Frank Arvan, Chairman
Briar Slavin
Juan Menendez
Louis Falasca

ABSENT:

Marion Reilly
Robert Barstow

Chairman Arvan called the meeting to order at 8:10 P.M.
1.

Antonio Marmo, Gordon Avenue-Review of two-family house.

Mr. Marmo presented Site Plan to the Board for their
review. He stated that the proposed residence was on the lot
adjoining his mother's house, on the corner of Gordon Avenue and
Holland Avenue. Mr. Marmo outlined his intentions as to siding,
roof shingles and door colors. He also stated that he has
received the required variances from the Zoning Board.
After a discussion, Mr. Falasca moved, seconded by
Mr. Slavin that the plans be approved as submitted. Carried.
2.

P.J. Apparel Outlet, 106 Pocantico Street-Sign approval.

Mr. Ray Ackerly, applicant, presented pictures of
proposed sign and requested approval by the Board.
Mr. Falasca stated that there were too many signs
and too many variances were needed.
After a discussion, Mr. Falasca moved, seconded by
Mr. Slavin that the request be denied, and a new request be
submitted at the next meeting, with plans drawn to scale,
showing color, and size, and that the present sign be allowed
until that time. Carried.
3.

Larry Rodrigues, 180 Valley Street-Greenhouse on building
front.

Mr. Rodrigues presented plans regarding greenhouse on
the front of his building at 180 Valley Street. The store in
question will be a restaurant named "Seabreeze". Mr. Rodriques
outlined type of construction and answered questions presented
by the Board.
Mr. Slavin moved, seconded by Mr. Menendez that the
plans be approved as presented. Carried.

Frank and Barbara Tally, 539 Riverside Drive-Addition.

Chairman Arvan reported he had met with the Architect
for Mr. &amp; Mr?. Tally regarding the type of material to be used
and the Architect agreed to the Board's suggestion.
MINUTES:
Mr. Falasca moved, seconded by Mr. Slavin that the
minutes of the meeting held on June 24th, 19992 be approved as
submitted. Carried.
There being no further business to come before the
Board, Mr. Menendez moved, seconded by Mr. Slavin that the same
be duly adjourned. Carried.
