Present: Mayor Kenneth G. Wray Karin T. Wompa David L. Schroedel Bruce R. Campbell Barbara J. Carr Evelyn R. Stupel Trustees Thomas Capossela (Absent) Also Present: Anthony Giaccio, Village Administrator Janet Gandolfo, Village Attorney Diane Jacobson, Treasurer Sean McCarthy, Village Architect Rich Gross, General Foreman Greg Camp, Police Lieutenant At 6:00 p.m. the Board moved to Executive Session to discuss legal matters. Mayor Wray called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. CAPITAL BUDGET - Diane Jacobson outlined her recommendations for the capital budget. DAY CAMP INTER-MUNICIPAL AGREEMENT - The Board discussed an inter-municipal agreement with Tarrytown to run the summer day camp. VACATION POLICY - The Board reviewed an employee's request to carry over vacation days. SAFETY COMMITTEE - Mayor Wray made a recommendation to create a safety committee to help to set policies that would improve employee safety. PARKING RECOMMENDATIONS - Trustee Campbell gave a report and made recommendations to improve parking and traffic throughout the Village. �ENVIRONMENTAL CONSERVATION COMMITTEE - Trustee Wompa recommended creating a committee that could address environmental issues and policies for the Village. NEW BROADWAY TRAFFIC REPORT - Lieutenant Camp gave a report on traffic on New Broadway. The police have placed a temporary traffic trailer to monitor speeds and police cars have been stationed in that area. NEW BROADWAY PUBLIC HEARING - The Board discussed setting a public hearing to amend traffic restrictions on New Broadway. LAWRENCE AVENUE PUBLIC HEARING - The Board discussed setting a public hearing to amend parking restrictions on Lawrence Avenue. SPECIAL SESSION At 8:23 p.m., on a motion made by Trustee Schroedel and seconded by Trustee Campbell and carried unanimously the Board moved into special session. Mayor Wray appointed the following individuals to the Planning Board. 1) Isabel Mendez (5 year term) 2) John Weisner (5 year term) Mayor 1) 2) 3) Wray appointed the following individuals to the Zoning Board. Jennifer Lobato-Church (3 year term) Gorete Crowe (3 year term) Gordon Schwartz (2 year re-appointment) At 8:40 p.m., on a motion made by Trustee Schroedel and seconded by Trustee Carr and carried unanimously the meeting was adjourned.
