                  <text>Minutes of the Board of Trustees
Village of Sleepy Hollow
A work session of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Sleepy Hollow was held on Tuesday,
November 17,2009 starting at 7:00 P.M. in the boardroom at Village Hall, 28 Beekman Avenue,
Sleepy Hollow, New York.

Mayor Wray called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.

RIVER'S EDGE PRESENTATION - Representatives from National Resources gave a
presentation on the River's Edge proposal. The project has been amended since the first
submission back in February. The height of the structure has been lowered, there is a larger area
for Riverwalk and the building's footprint has been reconfigured. There are 60 residential
condominium units being proposed. The Board had several questions related for the applicant.
The Board had concerns about Riverwalk, tax revenue, water supply, traffic and environmental
conditions. Discussion ensued.
HOLIDAY LIGHTS ON VALLEY STREET - The Board reviewed a request made by
Lawrence Rodriguez to put up holiday lights on Valley Street.
SNOW AND ICE AGREEMENT - The Board reviewed the New York State Department of
Transportation snow and ice agreement. New York State pays the Village to remove snow and
ice from State owned roads located in Sleepy Hollow.

�BUDGET TRANSFER - Diane Jacobson recommended a budget transfer to record a grant
transaction.
AMEND PERSONNEL MANUAL - The Board discussed amending the e-mail use policy.
ROUTE 9 CULVERT PROJECT - The Board discussed whether or not to award the bid for the
Route 9 Culvert Project. There were some concerns that the bid specifications were incomplete
and not detailed enough.
WATER SYSTEM TOUR ANNOUNCEMENT - The Mayor announced that Dolph Rotfeld and
Rich Gross will give the Village Board a tour of the Village's water system. The tour will take
place on Saturday, November 21,2009 at 9:00am,
At 8:40 p.m., on a motion made by Trustee Campbell and seconded by Trustee Carr and carried
unanimously the meeting was adjourned.
