Village of Sleepy Hollow
A work session of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Sleepy Hollow was held on Tuesday,
December 15, 2009 starting at 7:00 P.M. in the boardroom at Village Hall, 28 Beekman Avenue,
Sleepy Hollow, New York.

Mayor Wray called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE - Judith McCarthy from the New York State Attorney
General's Office gave a presentation raising awareness to holiday scams. More information is
available at www.oag.state.ny.us. Trustee Campbell recommended putting this link on the
Village's website. Anyone can also call Ms. McCarthy's office at (914) 422-8755.
RIVER'S EDGE/ DRAFT ZONING - David Smith presented two draft resolutions for review
by the Board (attached). The first resolution is to approve a special permit and concept plan for
River's Edge. The second resolution is to approve an amendment to the waterfront zoning. Mr.
Smith explained each resolution in great detail. The Board had several questions for Mr. Smith.
The Board agreed to eliminate a requirement for the developer to pay $5,000 a year to maintain
the Riverwalk.
