https://sleepyhollow.localarchives.org/files/original/08da6f7c6e018d3452b59924eb884e5f.pdf 9824bdbd344b127a50e478178de35e20 PDF Text Text Meeting Date: 03/16/2010 Resolution #: 03/44/2010 Resolution of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Sleepy Hollow Awarding Contract for a DeVries Park Topographical Survey WHEREAS, the Village of Sleepy Hollow has been awarded a Community Development Block grant in the amount of $248,000 to renovate DeVries Park for which a topographical survey is needed; and WHEREAS, in January 2010 the Board of Trustees authorized up to $7,500 in funding for such a topographical survey; and WHEREAS, a Request For Proposal process has been completed and Tectonic of Mountainviile, NY submitted the most competitive proposal for a topographical survey of the portion of DeVries Park impacted by the grant project at a fee of $2,700. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Kenneth Wray, Mayor of the Village of Sleepy Hollow, is hereby authorized and directed to execute a topographical survey agreement with Tectonic for an amount not to exceed $2,700. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor is herein authorized to take any and all such steps as are necessary to effectuate the intent of this resolution. Moved: Trustee Campbell Seconded; Trustee Stupel Vote: 6-0 �Meeting Date; 03/16/2010 Resolution #: 03/45/2010 Resolution of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Sleepy Hollow Authorizing Execution of Contract to Digitize Building Department Property Files WHEREAS, the vast majority of the property files for each Section/Block/Lot in the Village are currently in paper form; and WHEREAS, the Village of Sleepy Hollow wishes to digitize the documents most frequently used in the property files to improve access, enhance efficiency and expand risk management; and WHEREAS, the Village has been awarded a $34,487 grant by the New York State Archives to fund this project; and WHEREAS, the New York State Industries for the Disabled are a New York State preferred source vendor, and the Village is required to consider preferred sources for such an applicable procurement and to select the preferred source where no justification exists for not doing so; and WHEREAS, the New York State Industries for the Disabled submitted a satisfactory proposal which includes the ability to complete the project by June 30 as required by the granting agency and reference checking indicates a history of satisfactory performance. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOIVED that Kenneth Wray, Mayor of the Village of Sleepy Hollow, is hereby authorized and directed to execute the digital scanning agreement with New York State Industries for the Disabled for an amount not to exceed $30,000. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor is herein authorized to take any and all such steps as are necessary to effectuate the intent of this resolution.
