Present: Mayor Kenneth G. Wray Thomas Capossela Karin T. Wompa Evelyn R. Stupel Barbara J. CanDavid L. Schroedel Trustees Bruce R. Campbell (Absent) Also Present: Anthony Giaccio, Village Administrator Sara DiGiacomo, Village Treasurer Greg Camp, Police Chief Mayor Wray called the work session to order at 7:00 p.m. CAPITAL PROJECTS - Sara DiGiacomo outlined the various capital project requests that were submitted by the Department Heads. Ms. DiGiacomo provided the Board with a summary of the requests (attached). Police Department - The Police Department would like to purchase three new vehicles and in-car digital cameras. They also asked for some building improvements. Mayor Wray requested an inventory of all police vehicles including age and function. Fire Department - The Fire Department has requested turn out gear and boots. They are also interested in purchasing a new fire truck, but it was determined that this will be discussed at a later date. Administration - Capital projects for administration include a legal settlement, tax certioraris and community development block grant projects. DPW - The DPW would like to purchase a new street sweeper. In addition, there are several water department projects that have to be done within the coming months. �RECORDS MANAGEMENT DAY - The Board discussed scheduling one or two record management days. During these days, Village Hall will be closed, but the staff will work on organizing all village files and documents. Suggested dates are August 12 and August 19. OTHER - Trustee Schroedel complimented the fireworks company for putting on a nice show for the fourth of July. Trustee Capossela asked that the After School Program be put on the next work session agenda. At 7:45 the meeting was adjourned.
