Present: Mayor Kenneth G. Wray Thomas Capossela Bruce Campbell Barbara Carr Karin Wompa Evelyn Stupel David Schroedel Trustees Also Present: Anthony Giaccio, Village Administrator Janet Gandolfo, Village Attorney Greg Camp, Police Chief Rich Gross, General Foreman Sean McCarthy, Village Architect Mayor Wray called the work session to order at 7:00 p.m. MAPPING PROJECT - The Village hired Peter Basha to map all the street signs in the innervillage to identify whether or not they are consistent with the code. Mr. Basha gave a status report on the work that he has done so far. He expects to be finished by the end of January. Once all the data is collected, Chief Camp will help determine which signs need to be replaced, removed or altered. GRANT UPDATE - Fiona Hodgson gave a status report on all grants (See attached spreadsheet). The grants range from being current applications to being totally complete. Several major Village projects like Bamhart Park and the Senior Center were partially funded through grants. CODE REVISIONS - The Board continued its discussion on code revisions. Janet Gandolfo led the discussion. Items covered included the Code of Ethics, Public Access to Records, Alarm Systems, Alcohol Beverages, Filming, Parks and Recreation Areas, Peddling and Soliciting, Street and Sidewalks, Handbills and Posters, Garbage and Recycling, Building Code Violations, the Architectural Review Board, Storm Water Management and Fees. The Mayor announced that a petition was submitted to amend the code to allow ball playing in the streets (attached). �EXECUTIVE SESSION At 8:45 p.m., on a motion made by Trustee Campbell and seconded by Trustee Carr and carried unanimously the Board moved to executive session to discuss a personnel matter. At 8:55 p.m., on a motion made by Trustee Schroedel and seconded by Trustee Campbell and carried unanimously the Board moved out of executive session. SPECIAL SESSION At 8:56 p.m., on a motion made by Trustee Schroedel and seconded by Trustee Capossela and carried unanimously the Board moved to special session. Motion was made by Trustee Schroedel and seconded by Trustee Stupel to authorize the hiring of Jacqueline Johnson to the position of part-time bookkeeper at a rate of pay of $23/hr. The motion passed 6-0. Motion was made by Trustee Schroedel and seconded by Trustee Campbell to move out of special session. The motion passed 6-0. At 9:00 p.m. the meeting was adjourned.
