Resolution of the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Sleepy Hollow
To Authorize Water Storage Tank Test Borings
WHEREAS, the Village Board is researching possible locations for a new water storage

tank; and
WHEREAS, one location being considered is directly beneath the existing village

reservoir within the village's easement on the Rockefeller State Park Preserve; and
WHEREAS, in order to determine if this location is viable, test borings are needed; and
WHEREAS, Dolph Rotfeld Engineering has recommended using SOi/testing Inc. for

these test borings at a cost not to exceed $6,000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the

Village of Sleepy Hollow authorizes hiring Soi/testing Inc. to do test borings for a water
storage tank within the Village's easement on the Rockefeller State Park Preserve at a
cost not to exceed $6,000 as recommended by Dolph Rotfeld Engineering.
