Village of Sleepy Hollow
A work session of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Sleepy Hollow was held on Tuesday,
April 3,2012 at 7:00 P.M. at Village Hall, 28 Beekman Avenue, Sleepy Hollow, New York.
Present:

Deputy Mayor Karin Wompa
Bruce Campbell

Mayor Wray called the work session to order at 7:10 p.m.
MAYOR'S ANNOUNCEMENTS - Mayor Wray introduced the new Village Board and
congratulated Deputy Mayor Karin Wompa, Trustee Jennifer Lobato-Church, and Trustee Susan
MacFarlane on being elected to the Board.
TREE APPEAL 8 WEBB ROAD - Andrea Williamson, of 8 Webb Road, requested that the
Board overturn a Tree Commission decision regarding a spruce tree on her property. Francois
Rjeili from the Tree Committee said that he would change his vote based on the new information
presented by Ms. Williamson.
TREE APPEAL 15 FREMONT ROAD - Gregory Fox, of 15 Fremont Road, requested that the
Board overturn a Tree Commission decision regarding a maple tree on his property. Francois
Rjeili from the Tree Committee said that he stands by his decision. Discussion ensued. The
matter was tabled.
RIVER'S EDGE NEW DESIGN - Paul JanosfromNational Resources made a presentation on
River's Edge to show the design changefromwhen the special permit was issued. The Village
Board discussed the new design.
BUDGET - Sara DiGiacomo summarized the tentative budget and that it conforms with the 2%
tax cap restriction. Chief Camp requested that a few mandated items be placed back into the

�police department budget. Mayor Wray asked that all department heads be prepared to discuss
their budgets with the Board at the next work session. Discussion ensued.
WATER NOTIFICATION - Chief Gross informed the Board that there was a water main break
and that some residents may experience brown water.
At 9:15pm the meeting was adjourned
