REGULAR MEETING

NORTH TARRYTCWN, NEW YORK
FEBRUARY 23rd, 1994

A regular meeting of the North Tarrytown Architectural Review
Board was held on february 23rd, 1994 at 8;00 P.M. in the Village Hall,
28 Beekman Avenue, North Tarrytown, New York.
PRESENT:

James Nazemetz, Chairman
Brian Slavin
Elvira Aloia
Louis falasca

ABSENT:

Juan Menendez
Marian Reilly
Sean McCarthy
James Margotta, Building Inspector

ALSO PRESENT:

Jeff McGovern, Attorney

Chairman Nazemetz called the meeting to order at 8:15 P.M.
1.

Phillipsburg Manor-Overflow Parking Lot-Signs.

Mr. fraser Paymuller, Director of Security presented plans for
proposed directional signs to be installed on adjacent streets to the
restoration. He explained the signs would be necessary in order for
visitors to the restoration to find their way back to Route 9 after
visiting the restoration. The signs will be installed near the streets
of the overflow parking area. Mr. Paymuller stated that the signs
would be blue and white and will have the restoration logo, with
universal logos, as many of the visitors will be foreigners.
Discussion followed regarding the placement of the signs,
types of signs and the number of signs to be erected.
Mr. Slavin stated that the Board could approve the type of
signs to be erected, but final approval would have to come from the
Board of Trustees.
Discussion followed regarding "19.6 Sign" which is to be
erected at the corner of Howard Street and Pocantico Street. Mr.
Paymuller stated that the sign would be a directional sign, which
will direct visitors to "Route 9". After discussion it was agreed
that the "19.1" would be double faced.
Mr. JFalasca moved, seconded by Mr. Slavin that the plans for
the proposed signs be approved as submitted. Carried.
MINUTES
Mr. Falasca moved, seconded by Mrs. Aloia that the approval of
minutes of the meeting held on January 26th, 1994 be deferred to the
March meeting. Carried.

�-2Discussion followed regarding the "No Trespassing" sign on the
property located at 24 Lakeview Drive, North Tarrytown. The matter
was referred to the Building Inspector.
There being no further business to come before the meeting, Mr.
falasca moved, seconded by Mrs. Aloia that the same be duly adjourned.
Carried.
