IN THE MATTER OF CATHERINE CAMILLERI. 60 POCANTICO STREET. NORTH
TARRYTOWN. NEW YORK 10591
Mr. Sam Viera who is representing the Camilleri's distributed
drawing of the front of the house. The A.R.B. had already
approved the front porch.
During the construction, the whole
structural assembly was found to be rotted. Mr. Viera stated
that they would like to replace the roof with a hip roof which
will have a steeper pitch.
The stairs would be moved to the
south side. They are providing off-street parking by digging in
further. By moving stair over it would allow a tandam two car
garage. As the house is resided, the windows would be replaced.

Mr. McCarthy asked if the roof would be rolled or shingled. Mr.
Viera replied probably rotted because of the pitch. Mr. McCarthy
asked if Mr. Viera explored the possibility of square column.
Mr. Viera stated they did and the the cost has been researched
with the contractor and found that the cost would be tremendous.
The ceiling of the roof will be vinyl.
Contraction is block
stucco will be used to match the existing foundation.
Mr. Falasca requested the casing not be taking off the windows.

IN THE MATTER OF 16 AMOS STREET. NORTH TARRYTOWN. NEW YORK 10591
Mr. Barstow who is the architect representing the applicant
stated that he is resubmitting the application with a scale down
version.
It has the same roof lines, but a smaller square
footage and a reduced profile and footprint on the site.
This is a one family resident on Amos Street. There are several
modular homes in the cul-de-sac. This home has vinyl clad siding
with asphalt shingles, cape roof anderson windows and a panel
garage door. (Double solid door with no glass.)
The back side has access to a basement entry* Retaining walls are
in the back already.
There are three steps up to the porch
between the elevation and the garage and the first floor there is
approximately three feet. The driveway is fairly level from the
cul-de-sac. There will be enough room to expose the back side,
and put some window in and eventually have a door going out to
the back yard. Mr. Barstow will follow the grade as far as the
siding is concerned. There will not be an exposed foundation.
Mr. McCarthy asked if it would be possible to make a window over
the garage.
Mr. Barstow stated that there may be only some
storage above the garage. Mr. Falasca stated that a ridge vent
or a gable vent could be installed.
Mr. McCarthy also asked about the Chimney foundation.
Mr.
barstow stated that there was no foundation and it has zero
clearance. Discussion ensued concerning the chimney's appearance
and also on the porches appearance.

Mr. Nazemetz made a motion to approve the application as
submitted with changes that have been made by the Board which
include the chimney down to the grade, a stucco finish to made
the visible foundation, a ridge vent, replacing the loover with a
