Present: Mayor Kenneth G. Wray Deputy Mayor Karin Wompa Barbara Carr Bruce Campbell Jennifer Lobato-Church Susan MacFarlane, Trustees Absent: Evelyn Stupel, Trustee Also Present: Anthony P. Giaccio, Village Administrator Paula A. McCarthy, Village Clerk Sara A. DiGiacomo, Village Treasurer Janet Gandolfo, Village Counsel Richard Gross, Village General Foreman At 7:05 p.m. the Mayor called the meeting to order with a pledge to the flag. Mayor Wray presented Michael "Hmm with an appreciation plaque for his retirement be gTeTy misser'"'^^'^ ^^ ^^^ 26 years and will Public Hearing: Code Revisinn Mayor opened the public hearing and evoked the 5 minute rule. The public hearing was to adopt the revised Village Code. The Clerk read the notice aloud for the record (see attached) Mr. Kampen emailed a comment which was entered into the record (see attached) There were no other comments at this time. The public hearing meeting was adjourned until August Approval of Warrants: iJ^'nlfcST'^^^^f f M a c F a r l a n e $1,106,591.46 Vote: 5-0 to approve the warrant of Approval of Minutes: I n ' ^ ^ MacFarlane to approve the minutes of July 10, 20012. Trustee Carr abstained. Vote: 4-0 �lYustee Cam^^^^^ seconded by Trustee MacFarlane to approve the minutes of July 17 2012 Trustee Carr and Trustee Lobato-Church abstained. Mayor voted Vote: 4-0 Mayor announrpmpni-cMayor Wray announced that there will be appointments to the new Recreation Committee and appointed Stella Garlick and Maria DeMilia-Powers to the Police Advisory Committee Trustee Reporfrs: Trustee Carr - reported that the finance committee will be working on capital budgets. Trustee MacFarlane - reported that an agreement has been negotiated with General P I ^ h ^ b o d ' s landing and ^^ fnH 1 c n f ^^^^ during three Sundays, August 5 and 19 and September from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm Trustee MacFarlane also stated that graffiti at Barnhart Park will be cleaned up. Trustee Camphell - reported that he is working on the haunted hayride budget which is are less than that. In addition, a resolution was passed previously to apply for a grant for the ^^^^ ^^^^^ ^^^ ^ third'ight for prnomm ^^^^^ in the fagade renovation program and the inner village business is urged to apply.
