PRESENT: James Nazametz, Chairman Juan Menendez Marian Reilly Sean Mc Car thy Elvira Aloia Brian Slavin Louis FaLasca ALSO PRESENT: James Margotta, Building ABSENT: Jeff McGovern, Chairman Nazametz called 1. Architect for Mr. Brabazon presented drawings and plans for the proposed addition which will be approximately 12 x 12 . yard Discussion followed regarding side yard setbacks and existing shrubbery which will and rear remain. Mr. Falasca moved, seconded by Mr. Slavin that plans be approved as submitted. Carried. 2. Enterprise Rent-a-Car, 347 North Broadway.- the Sign. Mr. Margotta stated that the building is approximately forty feet back from North Broadway and a sign cannot be installed on the fence Robert Cunane, Agent for Enterprise Rent-a-Car presented samples of sign to be installed and stated that 95% of their business is rental. He stated that indirect lighting will be installed. Discussion followed regarding type of present sign and location of proposed sign including color of pedestal and s ign. Mr. Slavin moved, seconded by M r s . Reilly that the application be granted with the provision that the pedestal be painted black and that the lighting could be self-illuminating Carried. M r s . John Porco, North Broadway-Sign. Mr. Porco stated he was asking permission to replace the sign with a temporary sign advertising Julio and Thomas Auto Mechanic. Mr. Margotta stated that a new building would be built on the premises within the next year. Discussion followed regarding letters to be on the temporary sign. the color, type and Mr. Falasca moved, seconded by M s . Reilly that permission be granted for a temporary sign, for a period of six m o n t h s , said sign to have just the name "Julio and Thomas, Auto Mechanic Shop and Repair" with the height of letters to conform to the code. Carried. 4. Mr. & M r s . Gavaller, Webber Avenue-Review revised Board Mr. & M r s . Gavaller to review. presented Discussion followed regarding plans and the "as built" plan. revised plans the various plan. for the revised Chairman Nazemetz stated that in the future the members of the Board should visit the projects to ensure that the buildings were being built as approved. Mr. McCarthy suggested that the "facade" be improved. Carried. There being no further business to come before the Board Mr. Falasca moved, seconded by Ms. Aloia that the same be duly adjourned. Carried.
