NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Village Board herein authorizes the Mayor to execute the attached Agreement and to take other such steps as are necessary to effectuate the intent of this resolution. Moved: Trustee Lobato- Church Absent: Trustee MacFarlane Seconded: Trustee Campbell Vote: 5-0 �Meeting Date: Resolution #: 10/09/2012 10/127/2012 Resolution of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Sleepy Hollow Authorizing the Payment of an Emergency Invoice to Legacy Valve LLC Whereas, Section 104-b of tine General Municipal Law ("GML") requires every Village to adopt internal policies and procedures governing all procurement of goods and services not subject to the bidding requirements of GML, section 103 or any other law; and Whereas, the Village, by resolution dated 04/02/12, adopted a purchase order and procurement policy; and Whereas, a water main break occurred on September 17, 2012 involving a main line in the Village located at the intersection of Route 448 and New Broadway thereby creating a potential safety hazard and possible water shortage for the residents of the Village; and Whereas, the Village does not have the necessary equipment to repair said break; and Whereas, it was necessary to retain the services of an outside contractor with the capabilities of repairing the break immediately. Now, therefore, be it resolved, that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Sleepy Hollow hereby declares the water main break occurring on or about September 17, 2012 an emergency; and Be it further resolved the Board of Trustees authorizes the suspension of the aforementioned procurement policy adopted by the Village; and Be it further resolved the Board of Trustees authorizes the payment of the sum of $9,548.82 to Legacy Valve LLC of Valhalla, New York, if deemed appropriate by the DPW General Foreman and Chair of the DPW Committee. Sleepy Hollow Police Department is requesting that you allow the installation of the listed equipment under the following conditions: Equipment: (all equipment listed below shall be referred to "the radio equipmenr below) 1- 30" Motorola ^pe cabinet with an MTR 3000 receiver. 1- 2 Bay depole antenna with ground protection and cable connectors. 1- 2 wire telco circuits (88 RTNA). Conditions: • No additional equipment shall be installed without written consent from Phelps Memorial Hospital. • Any access to the equipment or roof area shall be coordinated in advance through Phelps Memorial Hospital's Property Manager, (at present)Vincent Forgione. • Any interference to any cellular site equipment on the roof shall be corrected immediately at the sole cost of the Sleepy Hollow Police Department or their contractors.
