Mayor Wray called the work session to order at 7:00 p.m.
RECORDS MANAGEMENT DAY - The Board discussed having a records management day on
November 2. Village offices would be closed that day. Mayor Wray requested that a resolution
on this be put on the next Board meeting agenda.
CROSSING GUARD - The Board reviewed a request from Chief Camp to hire a new crossing
guard. Mayor Wray requested that a resolution on this be put on the next Board meeting agenda.
LIBRARY BOARD APPOINTMENT - Mayor Wray informed the Board that he would like to
appoint Fiona Hodgson to the Library Board. An appointment will be made at the next Board
meeting.
TREE APPEALS - The Board discussed a tree appeal request for 60 New Broadway. Mayor
Wray asked that this matter be discussed at the next Board meeting.
MEETING SCHEDULE - The Board announced that there will be no meeting on October 29.
CODE REVISIONS - The Board continued its discussion on code revisions. The discussion
was focused on the ball playing in the street issue. Trustee Carr started the discussion by saying
that the prohibition on ball playing in the street can be removed from the code because it is
addressed in other areas of the code. Trustee Lobato-Church did not agree with this and feels the
law should be rewritten. Trustee Campbell asked whether or not the current law is even
enforceable. Chief Camp responded. Deputy Mayor Wompa said that there is a problem with
structures in the street, specifically basketball hoops. Trustee Stupel agreed with Ms. Wompa.

Mayor Wray reminded the Board that the code only applies to ball playing in the street. The
Board had several legal questions for Ms. Gandolfo. Discussion ensued.
At 8:45pm the meeting was adjourned
Respectfully submitted,
