Regan Development Corp.-52 College Avenue-Rear Yard Bence Ron Turnquist, Architect for Regan Development presented plans and pictures of five foot fence to be erected at the rear of 52 College Avenue. He stated the property was recently purchased by Regan Development and is being restored. They have repaved the rear parking area and are requesting approval to install the fence. He stated that the purpose of the fence is to prevent people from walking through the rear of the property. Mr. Turnquist stated the proposed fencing would be black vinyl coated chain link on the east, south and west side of the lot with landscaping as shown on the drawing presented to the Board. There will be benches and a sitting area. Mr. Ugo Checchi stated he lives across the street from the apartment house and felt there should be more parking in the rear of the building, as there was a shortage of parking in the area. Chairman Nazemetz stated the Board could only rule on the installation of the fence. After a discussion Ms. Reilly moved, seconded by Mr. fcalasca that approval be granted for the erection of a four foot, black chain link fence at the rear of the property at 52 College Avenue. Carried. Mr. Turnquist agreed to the change from a five foot fence to a four foot high fence. 2. Dennis & Elizabeth Sawyer-Gaylin-438 Bellwood Avenue-Alterations. Mrs. Sawyer-Gaylin presented pictures of 438 Bellwood Avenue and explained to the Board what they proposed to do. �-2After a discussion Chairman Nazemetz stated that the Board approved in principal but would have to have drawings by an Architect. Mr. falasca moved, seconded by Mr. McCarthy that the matter be CArClSd}' over to the meeting to be held in March. Carried. 3. Clifford & Jeanette Morrison, 51 Lawrence Avenue-Addition. Mrs. Morrison presented sketch and pictures of proposed addition which will be a porch. She stated that the addition will be in line with her neighbors and latticework will be installed under the porch. She also stated that the porch will be 14 feet from the front property line. Discussion followed regarding type of roof and it was recommended that a "shed" roof be installed and Mrs. Morrison agreed to the change. Mrs. Fina moved, seconded by Mr. Falasca that the plans be approved as requested with the following changes: that a shed roof be installed, that gutters be installed, and that lattice work be installed under the porch. Carried. Chairman Nazemetz stated that Mrs. Morrison should submit corrected plans to reflect the changes recommended by the Board and Mr. Margotta would issue a Building permit. 4. Greta Alcivar, 232 North Washington Street-Sign. Mrs. Alcivar di«f not appear. MINUTES Mr. Falasca moved to approve the minutes of December 28th, 1994 as submitted. Seconded by Mr. McCarthy. Mrs. Aloia stated she wished to correct page 2 of the minutes regarding the vote on the Simao request. She stated she did not abstain but she voted "no". The clerk was instructed to correct the minutes. Ms. Fina abstained from voting. Carried. Discussion followed regarding fence installed at the corner of Beekman Avenue and Broadway, and Sleepy Hollow Detailing Shop. Chairman Nazemetz stated the next meeting would be held on March 1st, 1995. There being no further business to come before the Board, Mr. McCarthy moved, seconded by Ms. Reilly that the same be duly adjourned. Carried.
