Village of Sleepy Hollow
A work session of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Sleepy Hollow was held on Tuesday,
April 1,2014 at 7:00 P.M. at Village Hall, 28 Beekman Avenue, Sleepy Hollow, New York.

Mayor Wray called the work session to order at 7:00 p.m.
G ^ N T WRITER PRESENTATION - Grant Writer Fiona Hodgson updated the Board on the
Village's grant initiatives. Ms. Hodgson summarized the recently completed grant projects, gave
a status report on current projects and outlined the new grant applications.
AECOM LICENSE AGREEMENT RENEWAL- Michael Doherty, of AECOM made a request
to the Village Board to renew a license agreement to use a portion of the Elm Street parking lot
as a staging area for the Duracell clean-up project. Mayor Wray asked that this item be placed
on the next Village Board meeting agenda.
BUDGET PRESENTATIONS - Recreation Supervisor Robin Pell, Ambulance Captain, Rich
D'Alessandro and Building Inspector, Sean McCarthy summarized their respective budget
requests. The Board had many questions.
ORGANIZATIONAL MEETING - The Village Board discussed the upcoming organizational
meeting.
HOURS OF OPERATION FOR CERTAIN BUSINESSESS - Each Village Board member gave
their opinion on amending the code as it relates to the hours of operation for certain businesses.
The Board closed the public hearing on this on February 18, 2014. A decision is required within
60 days of that date. The Village Board expects to vote on this item at the next Board meeting.

�BUDGET MEETINGS SCHEDULE - Mayor Wray suggested that additional meetings be held
to discuss the budget. The proposed meeting dates are April 17 and April 24, 2014.

EXECUTIVE SESSION
On a motion made by Trustee Stupel and seconded by Trustee Wompa and carried unanimously
the Board moved to executive session.
On a motion made by Trustee Wompa and seconded by Trustee Campbell and carried
unanimously the Board moved out of executive session.
At 10:00 p.m. the meeting was adjourned.
