to Authorize Mayor to Sign Kendal On Hudson Agreement
BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Sleepy
Hollow authorize the Mayor of Sleepy Hollow to sign the attached Home Meal deliver/
Program Agreement with Kendal On Hudson for meal delivery to local residents.

Resolution of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Sleepy Hollow
Accepting Resignation of Secretary to Administrator
Whereas, Christoplier Scelza, by the attached letter dated August 26, 2014, and
effective September 5, 2014 submitted his resignation letter from the Village of Sleepy Hollow
Administration and Finance Department(s).
Whereas, said resignation letter must be formally accepted by the Village of Sleepy
Hollow Board of Trustees, and
Whereas, the Village, by resolution number 07/138/03 dated July 15, 2003, adopted a
policy for employee termination and rehire, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Village accepts the resignation of
Christopher Scelza, by the attached letter dated August 26, 2014 and effective September 5,
2014, and finds that the termination/rehire policy of July 15, 2003 applies, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of the policy be forwarded to and a copy be
placed in her personnel record with proof of sen/ice.

Authorizing Village Clerk to Canvass Civil Service list for Bookkeeper
Whereas, the Village Treasurer Is desirous of hiring a Bookkeeper to work in the
Finance Departnfient; and
Whereas, Bookkeeper is a non-exempt Civil Service position; and
Whereas, In order to hire a Bookkeeper, the Civil Service list for this position must be
canvassed;
Now, therefore, be it resolved, that the Mayor and the Board of Trustees of the
Village of Sleepy Hollow authorize the Village Clerk to canvass the Civil Service list for
the position of Bookkeeper, and
Be it further resolved, that the annual salary range for this position shall be $45,000
to $55,000.

Be It Further Resolved the Board of Trustees directs the Chief of Police to coordinate
the public safety issues with the applicants for the block party.

To whom it may concern.
Neighbors of Farrington Avenue between Bellwood and Munroe would like
permission to close the street to car traffic for a block party on:
Saturday evening, September 28th from 4:30pm until 11pm
This would entail the town's delivery and pick-up of "horses" to close each end of
the street.

BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and the Board of Trustees of the Village of Sleepy Hollow
approve a request made by Jessica Mejias of Sleepy Hollow, NY to hold an annual Chilean
Independence Day Celebration on Sunday, September 14, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 pm.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the Board of Trustees approve the use of
Sykes Park during this festive celebration.

September 27^ from 1:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Sunday, September 28^ from 11: am
to 9:00p.m.

approves the attached agreement with East Coast Midways LLC.

Resolution of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Sleepy Hollow
Authorizing Retainer Agreement
Whereas, the Fire Chief has requested the Board of Trustees hire personnel to
maintain and administer reports required by the State and other governing and/or
regulatory entitles; and
Whereas, the Fire Chief has also requested assistance with processing Invoices,
purchasing of supplies, correspondence and maintaining the Fire Departments' website
and red alert.
Whereas, the Fire Chief has recommended Larry Lee, for this position, which is
currently a member of the Fire Department and has been assisting with Administrative
tasks.
Now, therefore, be it resolved, the Board of Trustees hereby authorizes the Mayor
to enter Into a consulting retainer with Larry Lee to perform the aforementioned tasks;
and
Be it further resolved, that l^r. Lee shall be paid the sum of $500.00 per month
pursuant to a retainer agreement to be drafted by Village Counsel effective upon
mutual execution of the retainer; and
Be it further resolved, that Mr. Lee shall be an Independent consultant effective
September 10, 2014.

Hiring Part-Time Recreation Person
Whereas, Recreation Supervisor, Robin Pell has submitted a written request to the
Village Administrator recommending hiring a part-time counselor to work at the afterschool program, and
Whereas, this part-time position was advertised and interviews were conducted, and
Whereas, Ms. Pell has recommended hiring Dylan Stewart for this position at an hourly
rate of pay of $12.00 per hour effective September 9, 2014.
Now, therefore, be it Resolved, that the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Sleepy Hollow approve the hiring of Dylan Stewart to the position of counselor for
the after-school program, at an hourly rate of $12.00 per hour effective September 9,
2014.
