RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
VILLAGE OF SLEEPY HOLLOW
ADOPTING LOCAL LAW #8, 2015
Whereas, the Board of Trustees (BOX) held a duly called and noticed public
hearing on November 10, 2015 to hear and consider comments from the public
regarding proposed amendments to Chapter 400-7 of the Code of the Village of
Sleepy Hollow entitled 'Marking restricted in designated locations"
Whereas, the BOT has considered all of the comments, both written and
oral, that was submitted at the Public Hearing and otherwise in reference to the
proposed amendments;
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved that the BOT adopts Local Law No. 8, 2015
amending Chapter 400-7 of the Code of the Village of Sleepy Hollow entitled
'Marking restricted in designated locations" concerning one parking space on the
South side, nearby or in front of 84 Beekman Avenue.

OF THE CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF SLEEPY HOLLOW
ENTITLE "VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC" RELATIVE
TO RESTRICTIVE PARKING

BE IT ENACTED by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Sleepy Hollow, New York,
as follows:
Section 1. Section 400-7 of the Code of the Village Sleepy Hollow entitled "Parking
restricted in designated locations" is hereby amended to add the following location thereunder, in
alphabetical order:

Beekman Avenue

South All 8:00 am. to Restricted metered parking of 15 minutes
8:00 p.m. at one space within 50 feet of either side
of 84 Beekman Avenue

The invalidity of any word, section, clause, paragraph sentence, part, or

provision of this local law shall not affect the validity of any part of this local law which can be
given effect without such invalid part or parts.
Section 3. This Local Law shall take effect immediately upon filing in the Office of
the Secretary of State.

Approving the Action of the Board of Fire Wardens
Whereas, the Board of Fire Wardens of the Sleepy Hollow Fire Department at a recent
meeting, voted to accept one (1) new active member, Clarence Sharrock, Jr, and
Whereas, the Board of Fire Wardens of the Sleepy Hollow Fire Department at a recent
meeting, voted to remove the following members: Jimmy Warren, Douglas Wray and
Anthony See. (See attached memo)
Now, Be It Resolved the Board of Trustees directs the Village Clerk to notify the Fire
Chief in writing of this resolution.
