I was recently extended an opportunity to become a Police Officer with the Dobbs Ferry Police Department, and under careful consideration, I have decided to accept their offer. Becoming a Police Officer has always been a life long dream of mine and it has finally become a reality. Sadly I will be concluding my employment with The Village of Sleepy Hollow on Monday, December 26 at 11:59 PM. My time here in Sleepy Hollow has led to some of the most memorable experiences of my life. I will miss my j o b and all the people I have had the pleasure of working with for the past six years. Respectfully, Paul Cappello-Asst Chie Secretary, Board of fire Wardens Cc; Report �Resolution of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Sleepy Hollow Hiring Parking Enforcement Officers Whereas, the Board of Trustees has been informed by the Chief of Police that two positions for a part-time Parking Enforcement Officer are available due to recent resignations, and Whereas, positions, the Board of Trustees has determined that the Village needs to fill these Whereas, the opening was published to the general public, and Whereas, the Chief of Police has recommended Carlos Barros of Sleepy Hollow and Elizabeth Maffucci of Tarrytown be hired for this postion. Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Sleepy Hollow hereby approves the Mayor's appointment of Carlos Barros of Sleepy Hollow and Elizabeth Maffucci of Tarrytown, to be hired on a part time basis to work as Parking Enforcement Officers for the Village of Sleepy Hollow at a salary rate of $15.00 per hour, not to exceed 20 hours per week, effective January 17, 2017. Be It Further Resolved that said appointments are subject to the approval of the Westchester County Department of Human Resources and a probationary period of twelve to fifty two weeks.
