Resolution of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Sleepy Hollow
Approving a Request for the Immaculate Conception Church Bazaar
Be It Resolved that the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Sleepy Hollow
approve a request made by the Immaculate Conception Church to have their annual
Bazaar &amp; Middle Eastern Festival on September 8^^ and
from 5: pm to 10: pm,
September
10^ 16^ 17^ from 11: am to 10:pm; September 22"^ from 6:pm to
12:am; September 23'"'^ from 12:pm to 12:am and September 24^ from l:pm to 6pm
Be It Resolved that the Mayor and the Board of Trustees approve the closing of
Depeyster Street between Broadway and Washington Street during this festive
celebration, and
Be It Further Resolved the Mayor and Board of Trustees directs the Chief of Police to
coordinate the public safety Issues with the applicants for these Festivities.

RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF SLEEPY HOLLOW
APPROVING TAX REFUND
Whereas Ms. Anna T. Abelaf, the legal owner of, and residing at 58 New
Broadway, Tax ID 115.8-1-62, qualified for a 30 percent 2017-2018 Senior Citizens
reduction in assessed value which would have reduced the 2017 Taxable Assessed
Value of her parcel from $107,130 to $74,991, and;
Whereas due to a clerical error of omission the 30 percent taxable assessed
value reduction of $32,139 was not applied to her parcel, and
Whereas on June 9, 2017 Ms. Abelaf paid the full amount tax due of $3,683.21
according to her 2017-2018 Tax Bill #758, which did not reflect the 30 percent
reduction;
Therefore be it Resolved the Receiver of Taxes is authorized to immediately
forward a refund of $1,104.96 to Ms. Anna T. Abelaf of 58 New Broadway in the Village
of Sleepy Hollow which reflects an over-payment in Village Real Property Tax due for
the 2017-2018 fiscal year.

Approving Request for Block Party
BE IT RESOLVED tliat the Mayor and the Board of Trustees of the Village of Sleepy
Hollow approve a request made by Elizabeth Zammit to close off Farringdon Avenue, between
Bellwood and Munroe Avenues to vehicular traffic on Saturday, September 16, 2017 from
4:00pm to 11:00pm, for a neighborhood block party. Saturday, October 7"^ is the request for a
rain date.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED the Board of Trustees directs the Chief of Police to
coordinate the public safety issues with the applicants, if necessary.

Resolution of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Sleepy Hollow
Authorizing Agreement with the Urban Land Institute
WHEREAS, The Urban Land Institute is a nonprofit research and education
organization that provides expertise, Information, and experience to help communities
develop land use policies and practices, and
WHEREAS, The Urban Land Institute Technical Assistance Panels (TAPs) program
works with local governments to address challenging land use issues by providing
practical solutions and objective advice, and
WHEREAS, Technical Assistance Panels (TAPs) conduct one to two-day work
sessions, with the scope of the work defined by the municipality, and complete a TAP
report with land use policy recommendations, and
WHEREAS, The Village of Sleepy Hollow Is desirous of entering into an agreement with
the Urban Land Institute to provide a Technical Assistance Panel Report at a cost not to
exceed $18,000;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor of Sleepy Hollow Is authorized
to enter into an agreement with the Urban Land Institute to provide a Technical
Assistance Panel Report at a cost not to exceed $18,000 subject to the approval by the
Village Attorney.
