SLEEPY HOLLOW, NEW YORK
June 25th, 1997

A regular meeting of the Sleepy Hollow Architectural Review
Board was held on June 25th, 1997 at 8:00 P.M. in the Village Hall, :
Sleepy Hollow, New York.

Chairman Nazemetz called the meeting to order at

Bernard Lillis &amp; Kathle^nyDeuel, 474 Bellwood Avenue-Fence.

Mrs. Lillis presented application for erection of fencing around
poll at 464 Bellwood Avenue.
Mr. Nazemetz moved, seconded by Mr. McCarthy to open the meeting
for public comments. Carried.

There being no public comments Mr. Nazemetz moved, seconded by
Mr. McCarthy that the meeting be closed for public comments. Carried.
Discussion followed regarding type of fencing to be erected.
Mr. Margotta stated that he had noticed the fence being installed
and spoke to Mrs. Lillis who stated that the fence was beeing erected around
the pool for protection. Mr. Margotta stated he told her to continue the
installation.
Mr. Falasca moved, seconded by Mr. McCarthy that the plans for
the erection of fencing around the pool be approved as requested. Carried.
2.

Alfredo DiPietro, Tappan Avenue-Re stairs and chimney approval.

Mr. DiPietro submitted revised plans for front entry and front stairs
and chimney and flue as requested by the Board at the last meeting.
Mr. Nazemetz moved, seconded by Mr. McCarthy to open the meeting
for public comments. Carried.
There being no public comments Mr. Nazemetz moved, seconded by
Mr. McCarthy that the meeting be closed for public comments. Carried.
Discussion followed regarding elimination of some stairs and the
incline proposed and the chimney revisions as suggested by the Board.
Mr. Falasca moved, seconded by Mr. McCarthy that the revisions be
approved as submitted and as suggested by the Board. Carried.

Mr. Nazemetz moved, seconded by Mr. Falasca that the meeting be
opened for public comments. Carried.
There being no public comments, Mr. Nazemetz moved, seconded by
Mr. Falasca that the meeting be closed for public comments. Carried.
Discussion followed regarding the removal of shutters, front
enclosure and the removal of the flag pole.
Mr. Falasca moved, seconded by Mr. McCarthy that the revised plans
be approved as submitted, arid the stairs over the cellar entrance on the
Depeyster Street side be approved as requested. Carried.
4. Maria Graca, 139 New Broadway-Continuation.
Mrs. Piomelli excused herself from paticipating as a member of the
Board as she is the Architect for the applicant.
Mrs. Piomelli presented revised plans for a proposed two-family
prefab dwelling, taking into consideration the various items requested
by the Board at the last meeting. Mrs. Piomeeli stated her client has
elected to move the dwelling back in order to conform to the Zoning Code.
Mr. Nazemetz moved, seconded by Mr. Falasca that ^he meeting be
opened for public comments. Carried.
There being no public comments, Mr. Nazemetz moved, seconded by
Mr. Falasca that the meeting be closed for public comments. Carried.
Discussion followed regarding the driveway, garage, type of construction
type of roof, soffit and cornice, front yard and front porch and materials
to be used.
Mr. Falasca moved, seconded by Mr. McCarthy that the revised plans
be approved as requested. Carried.
MINUTES
Mr. McCarthy moved, seconded by Mr. Nazemetz that the minutes of the
meeting held on May 28th, 1997 be approved as submitted. Carried.
Mr. Nazemetz ststed that the next meeting of the Board would be held
on July 23rd, 1997.
There being no further business to come before the Board, Mr. McCarthy
moved, seconded by Mr. Falasca that the same be duly adjourned. Carried.
