Now, therefore, be it resolved that the Board of Trustees hereby awards a bid to Sleepy Halloween Animatronics to provide a haunted hayride show for two nights on October 26*^ and October 27'^ 2018 at a total cost of $35,000. The Code of the Village of Sleepy Hollow is hereby amended at Chapter 370, Taxation, by adding a new Article XI entitled "Ahemative Veteran's Exemption" to read as follows: §370-50. Name. This Article shall be known and may be cited as "Alternative Veteran's Exemption Law." §370.51. Purpose. The purpose of this Article is to set forth and provide the base for computation of the maximum real property tax exemption provided for in Real Property Tax Law §458-a that is in effect in the Village of Sleepy Hollow. §370.52. Definitions, Terms, and Conditions. All definitions, terms, and conditions of Real Property Tax Law §458-a shall apply to this Article. §370.53. Computation of Exemption. The exemption provided by this Article shall be computed in accordance with Real Property Tax Law §458-a. §370.54. Base for Computation of Maximum Exemption. The base for computation of the maximum exemption shall be: a. Wartime - $75,000.00 b. Combat Zone - $50,000.00 C. Disability - $250,000.00 Section 2. The invalidity of any word, section, clause, paragraph sentence, part, or provision of this local law shall not affect the validity of any part of this local law which can be given effect without such invalid part or parts. �Section 3.
