Present: Mayor Kenneth G. Wray Deputy Mayor Glenn Rosenbloom Rachelle Gebler Sam Gonzalez John Leavy - 7:05pm Denise Scaglione, Trustees Absent: Trustee Sandra Spiro Also Present: Anthony P. Giaccio, Village Administrator Paula A. McCarthy Tompkins, Village Clerk Clinton Smith, Village Counsel Sean E. McCarthy, Village Building Inspector Anthony Bueti, Police Chief Matt Arone, Recreation Superintendent Wayne Ballard, Public Works Superintendent At 7:00 p.m. Mayor Wray called the meeting to order with a pledge to the flag. Approval of Warrants: On a motion by Trustee Gebler, seconded by Trustee Scaglione, the 18NOV13 warrant was approved and the Treasurer was authorized to pay bills in the amount of $418,066 10 Motion carried. Approval of Minutes: On a motion by Deputy Mayor Rosenbloom, seconded by Trustee Scaglione, the Minutes of October 16, 2018 were approved. Motion carried. On a motion by Trustee Scaglione, seconded by Trustee Gonzalez, the Minutes of October 30, 2018 were approved. Motion Carried. Trustee Leavy abstained. Mavor Announcements; Mayor Wray stated the TaSH Farmers Market ends this Saturday, November 17^. The Rt 9 pedestrian and traffic study report/discussion, from Hastings to Sleepy Hollow conducted Nelson Nygaard will take place at Mercy College on Saturday, November 17^' Administrator's Report; See attached �Department Head Reports: Community Liaison. Diana Loja, addressed the Mayor and the Board of Trustees and reported she has had the opportunity to introduced herself to numerous Village residents and will continue to work with the community to organize events. On December 21^ there will be a concert the SHHS auditorium from 8:00pm-10:00pm On December there will be a Holiday i^larket Day at Patriots Park for small shop vendors. Ms. Loja suggested the "Coffee with a cop" event, take place at one of the local churches in January. Recreation Department Matt Arone, Superintendent of Recreation, addressed the Mayor and the Board of Trustees and reported on recent and upcoming events. (See attached report) Public Works Department Wayne Ballard, Superintendent addressed the Mayor and the Board of Trustees and reported on ongoing projects (See attached report) Trustee Leavy asked if the Con Edison has continued to do work in the Manors. Discussion ensued. Public Comments: Mayor Wray opened the meeting to the public and invoked the 3 minute rule. Tara Scheller, the instructor of Rivertown Yoga, addressed the Mayor and the Board of Trustee was very happy to have worked with our community for the new yoga program on the river and looks forward to doing it again. Resolutions: (see attached) R1 - Approve Tax Exemption Rates for Veteran's R2 - Salary Adjustment for Videographer R3 - Salary Adjustment for Zoning Inspector R4 - Re-Appoint Environmental Advisory Committee Members R5 - Appoint Part-Time Recreation Assistant - After School Program R6 - Approve Action of the Ambulance Corps R7 - Approve Actions of the Fire Wardens Mayor Wray asked the Board for a motion to approve the following appointments to the Environmental Advisory Committee to a four year term: On motion by Trustee Scaglione, moved by Deputy Mayor Rosenbloom, the following appointments were approved: Dave Arbin or Evergreen Way, Claire Davis of Hudson Street, Nana Welch of Lawrence Avenue and Melanie Dupuis of Rice Avenue. Motion carried. �Public Comments: Mayor Wray opened the meeting to the public and Invoked the 3 minute rule. There were no comments at this time.
