Present: James Nazemetz, Chairman Sean McCarthy, Barbara Fina Elvira Aloia Louis Falasca Absent: Rosaria Piomelli Robert Barstow Janet Gandolfo, Attorney James T. Margotta, Building Inspector Chairman Nazemetz stated that the purpose of the meeting was to discuss the possibilities in the renovation of 85 Cortlandt Street. Ron Turnquist, Architect for Mr. Jimenez outlined the proposed renovations including painting of the fire escapes, the removal of doors and replacement of same, repointing of bricks on the upper half of the front of the building and the installation of stucco on the southern: side of the building. Mr. Turnquist stated that the first floor would contain an office or retail shop and that shutters would be installed on the upper half of the building and awningg installed on the lower half. Mr. Turnquist stated there would be lights installed on the front of the building and the brick would be restored on the second and third floors. Discussion followed amongst the members of the Board and Mr. Turnquist was directed to submit plans and specifications to the Board for their review before June 13th, 1998 and the Board would discuss the matter at the June 24th, 1998 meeting. There being no further business to come before the Board, Mr. McCarthy moved, seconded by Mr. Falasca to adjourn the meeting. Carried.
