RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF SLEEPY HOLLOW TO
SET A PUBLIC HEARING AMENDING CHAPTER 400 ENTITLED "VEHICLES AND
TRAFFIC" RELATIVE TO ALTERNATE SIDE PARKING HOURS ON CORTLANDT STREET
AND VALLEY STREET
BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Trustees hereby schedules a public hearing to be held on
Tuesday, March 10, 2020, at 7:00 p.m. or shortly thereafter, at Village Hall, to hear and
consider comments from members of the public on a proposed Local Law entitled: "A Local Law
Amending Chapter 400 of the Code of the Village of Sleepy Hollow entitled "Vehicles And
Traffic" relative to alternate side parking hours on Cortlandt Street and Valley Street;" and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Village Clerk shall give due notice of this public hearing
in accordance with the Village Code and the provisions of the Municipal Home Rule Law of the
State of New York.

Authorizing Execution of Market New York Incentive Proposal
WHEREAS, the Village has been awarded a $160,000 Market New York grant by Empire
State Development for a circus for the Washington Irving/Legend of Sleepy Hollow
Bicentennial Celebration.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Administrator of the Village of Sleepy
Hollow is hereby authorized to execute and deliver the Incentive Proposal and the Grant
Disbursement Agreement for $160,000 to Empire State Development

Be It Resolved, that the Board of Trustees directs the Village Clerk to notify the
Ambulance Chief in writing of this resolution.
