The meeting was broadcast live. The public was not able to attend in person due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The Village Board participated by video. Residents were able to make comments by phone. Present: Mayor Kenneth G. Wray (By Video) Deputy Mayor Glenn Rosenbloom Sam Gonzalez (By Video) John Leavy (By Video) Denise Scaglione (By Video) Sandra Spiro (By Video) Rachelle Gebler (By Video) Trustees Also Present: Anthony Giaccio, Village Administrator (By Video) Clinton Smith, Village Attorney (By Video) Sara DiGiacomo, Treasurer (By Video) At 7:00 p.m. Mayor Wray called the meeting to order Roll call was taken and the following Village Board members responded "present": 1) Deputy Mayor Glenn Rosenbloom 4) Denise Scaglione 2) John Leavy 5) Sam Gonzalez 3) Rachelle Gebler 6) Sandra Spiro There was a pledge to the flag Public Hearing on the 2020/2021 Operating Budget: Mayor Wray opened the public hearing on the 2020/2021 operating budget. There were no comments. Motion was made by Trustee Gonzalez, seconded by Trustee Gebler to adjourn the public hearing on the 2020/2021 operating budget to April 21, 2020 at 7:00pm. Motion passed 7-0. Public Hearing on the Tac Cap Override: Mayor Wray opened the public hearing on the tax cap override. There were no comments. Motion was made by Trustee Scaglione, seconded by Trustee Gebler to adjourn the public hearing on the tax cap override to April 21, 2020 at 7:00pm. Motion passed 7-0. Warrant: Motion was made by Deputy Mayor Rosenbloom, seconded by Trustee Leavy to approve warrant 20APR14 in the amount of $222,528.92. Motion passed. 7-0. �Mayor's Announcements: More than 180 Sleepy Hollow residents have tested positive for Covid-19. Be safe and follow the Governor's orders to stay at home. The sanitation scheduled has changed to one day a week pick-up as a result of the virus and staffing limitations. Bulk pick-up is by appointment only. Use of all leaf blowers has been suspended. Playgrounds remain closed. Parks are open to walk and bike through only. Alternate side of the street parking is still suspended. All changes made as a result of the virus can be found on the Village's website. Residents need to respond to the Census to assure the Village is properly represented. Residents can make public comments by e-mail and letter.
