WHEREAS, Request for Proposals for this work were solicited and received on June 29 2020
and

WHEREAS, A total of nine proposals were received and reviewed by the Statue Island Desiqn

Committee and the Public Space Committee, and
WHEREAS, The Statue Island Design Committee and the Public Space Committee have
recommended Margie Ruddick Landscape to provide this service, and

NOW BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Trustees hereby approves the attached proposal
between the Village of Sleepy Hollow and Margie Ruddick Landscape for Design for the Statue
Island Improvement Project at a cost of $53,000 subject to the approval by the Villaae

Resolution of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Sleepy Hollow
To Confirm Mayor's Appointment of Part-Time Bookkeeper
Whereas there is a need for a par-time Bookkeeper in the Treasurer's Office to assist
with daily operations due to a current staff shortage emergency, and
Whereas funds for this position are in the 2020-2021 budget.
Now, therefore be it Resolved, that the Board of Trustees does hereby confirm the
Mayor's appointment of Susan Kharouba of Pleasantville, NY, to the part-time position
of Bookkeeper, not to exceed 17.5 hours weekly in the Treasurer's Office effective
August 3 rd 2020 at an hourly salary of $30.00, and
Be It Resolved, said appointment is subject to a probationary period of twelve to fiftytwo weeks and the approval of the Westchester County Department of Human
Resources, and
Be it further Resolved, said position will be under the general direction and
supervision of the Village Treasurer.
