Wray Deputy Mayor Glenn Rosenbloom (By Video) Denise Scaglione Rachelle Gebler Sandra Spiro Sam Gonzalez (By Video) John Leavy (By Video) Trustees Also Present: Anthony Giaccio, Village Administrator Anthony Bueti, Police Chief Rich Gross, General Foremen Sean McCarthy, Building Inspector Mayor Wray called the work session to order at 7:00 p.m. DPW STUDY PRESENTATION: Patricia Dwyer and Paul Bishop of Sourced Municipal Solutions made a presentation on a proposed public works study. The presentation was previously submitted to the Board. The proposed study will analyze various aspects of the public works department including organizational structure, budgeting, shared service opportunities, risk management, technology, sustainability and the future needs of the department. The Board had several questions. Discussion ensued. No action was taken. ZOOM MEETINGS: Mayor Wray started the discussion to consider going back to ZOOM meetings. Mayor Wray proposed going back to ZOOM only meetings in response to the increase in Covid cases. Some residents also complained that they have been unable to make public comments due to the pandemic. The Board agreed. Next week's Board meeting will be a ZOOM only meeting. SHORT TERM PARKING ON CORTLANDT STREET: The Board discussed having a short term metered parking space on Cortlandt Street. A public hearing on this matter was recently closed. The Board was in favor of approving this local law. Mayor Wray requested that this item be on the next Board meeting agenda. ZONING PROPOSAL: The Board reviewed a zoning proposal from BFJ Planners. Trustee Spiro met with the Planning Board Chair and the Building Inspector to get input on the proposal. Both feel that it would be good to move on zoning amendments as a next step to implementing ideas mentioned in the comprehensive plan. The Board was in favor of approving this proposal at next week's Board meeting. �ROUTE 9 TRANSPORTAION STUDY: Trustee Gebler started the discussion on the Route 9 Transportation study. The other river towns involved in this study passed resolutions in support of some aspects of the study. Trustee Gebler has asked the Board to consider passing a similar resolution. The Board will provide comments to Trustee Gebler and she will prepare a draft resolution. At 8:05 the work session was adjourned.
