Smart Communities
as a Climate Smart

WHERE AS, the top two action items listed on the DEC Website, establishment of a CSC Task Force
and appointment of a CSC Coordinator are mandatory in order for the Village of Sleepy Hollow to
M M its pledge and advance its Climate Smart status to the "Silver" level, which levels would qualify

the Village for grant eligibility; and
WHEREAS, on January 29, 2019, the Sleepy Hollow Board of Trustees established a Climate Smart
Task Force consisting of 8 community members, Wayne Ballard, DPW Superintendent, as Village
Staff liaison, and Ms Alexxis Granger, a Pace University Graduate Student intern, who was appointed
as Climate Smart Coordinator; and
WHEREAS, on May 5, 2020, the Sleepy Hollow Board of Trustees re-established a Climate Smart
Task Force consisting of 8 members including Village Administrator Anthony Giaccio as Village staff
liaison and appointed Ms. Claire Davis as the Climate Smart Coordinator for the Village of Sleepv
Hollow; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Claire Davis having relocated from Sleepy Hollow and resigned her position as
Climate Smart Coordinator for the Village of Sleepy Hollow;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Trustees of the Village of Sleepy
Hollow reestablishes a Climate Smart Task Force to comprise the following 9 members in accordance
with the requirements for composition for such task force set forth on the DEC CSC Website:

PLUS SALES TAX IF APPLICABLE

5. PMA customers will receive a 10% discount on parts
during the contract period. Each PMA call includes up to 2
hours of labor with additional time billed at $125.00 per hour.
6. This PMA does not cover repairs or damages caused by
accident, fire, water, forces of nature, or unwarranted abuse.
7. All maintenance agreements will be handled only by trained
personnel qualified to handle the inspection, lubrication,
adjustment and repairs necessary to ensure good operating
efficiency.
8. Additional service calls beyond the contracted number of
visits, as provided for in this agreement, will be charged at our
preferred rate of $450.00 for the first hour or partial hour and
$100.00 per hour thereafter.
9. Invoicing for parts, major alterations or additional service
calls will be made at the time work is completed.
10. This PMA is oavabte in advance. Invoicing for the
renewal of this agreement will be made a month or two before
the expiration of the current Agreement.

OF SLEEPY HOLLOW APPROVING RECORDS RETENTION AND
DISPOSITION SCHEDULE
BE I T RESOLVED, by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Sleepy Hollow that
Retention and Disposition Schedule for New York Local Government Records (LGS-1)
issued pursuant to Article 57-A of the Arts and Cultural Affairs Law, and containing legal
minimum retention periods for local government records, is hereby adopted for use by
all officers in legally disposing of valueless records listed therein, and
BE I T FURTHER RESOLVED, that in accordance with Article 57-A:
(a) only those records will be disposed of that are described in Retention and
Disposition Schedule for New York Local Government Records (LGS-1), after they have
met the minimum retention periods described therein;
(b) only those records will be disposed of that do not have sufficient administrative,
fiscal, legal, or historical value to merit retention beyond established legal minimum
periods.
