                  <text>The Board of Trustees of the Village of Sleepy Hollow held a meeting on Tuesday
December 15, 2020 at Village Hall, 28 Beekman Avenue, Sleepy Hollow, New York.
Present:

Mayor Kenneth G. Wray
Glenn Rosenbloom

Sam Gonzalez

Sandra Spiro

Also Present: Anthony P. Giaccio, Village Administrator
Sara DiGiacomo, Treasurer

At 8:06 p.m., Mayor Wray called the meeting to order with a pledge to the flag.
"Tonight's Board Meeting is being convened in accordance with the Governor's Executive Order
Number 202.1, dated March 13, 2020, which suspends certain provisions of the New York State
Open Meetings Law to allow a municipal board to convene a meeting via videoconferencing. In
accordance with the Executive Order, the public has been provided with the ability to view
tonight's work session and public hearing, and a transcript will be provided later. I have also
confirmed with our Village clerk that this meeting has been duly noticed by posting a notice on
the Village's bulletin boards, faxing a copy to the Warner Library, faxing a copy to the Journal
News and the Hudson Independent newspapers, posting a copy on the Village's website, and
listing it on the Village's Facebookpage "
Approval of Minutes
On a motion made by Trustee Gebler, seconded by Trustee Scaglione, the minutes of
November 11, and November 24, 2020 were approved. Motion carried.
Approval of Warrant
On a motion made by Trustee Scaglione, seconded by Deputy Mayor Rosenbloom, the
warrant was approved and Treasurer DiGiacomo was authorized to pay bills for
$2,290,198.78.
Mayor's Announcement
Mayor Wray discussed:
- Increase in COVID-19 infections in our area and reminded residents to
continue safe practices.
- Mayor Wray stated that the Village will be declaring a snow emergency for
tomorrow, December 16th at 6:00 pm until noon on Friday, December 18th

The SHPD &amp; SHPBA will be holding a holiday gift giveaway on Monday
December 21, between 2-4 p.m. in front of the Firehouse. Please email
sleepyhollowDba@qmail.rnm to register in advance.

Mayor thanked our Community Liaison, Diana Loja, and Rich Murphy
Regional Director for AYSO and his team for organizing a clothing and food
drive at Kingsland Point Park. Thank you for all who donated and all the
volunteers who helped organize this great event.
There will be a Virtual Tree Lighting this Saturday, December 19th from 5p.m.
to 7 p.m. Log onto the Village's website and join the fun!
The next Village Board meeting will be Tuesday, January 12th at 7 p m
Mayor Wray wished everyone on behalf of the Board and everyone who
works for the Village a Happy Hanukkah, Merry Christmas and a safe and
peaceful holiday.

Mayor Wray stated that a committee of Board members will be put together to move
forward on the DPW garage study. Trustee Spiro and Deputy Mayor Rosenbloom have
volunteered for the committee.
Trustee Scaglione stated that Chick Galella's 100th Birthday celebration on January 1st.
is being planned. The SH Recreation department is organizing a Birthday Wish video
called VID Hug. Look for the link on the website.
Administrator Giaccio mentioned that the Village, along with the Village of Tarrytown
will be hosting fireworks on January 1st.
