Mayor Wray called the work session to order at 7:00 p.m.
ON-STREET DINING POLICY: The Board discussed a proposal to allow on-street dining in
front of Hudson Anchor. The Board is in favor of moving forward with this idea on a trial basis
The Board would like to arrange this by the end of next week and requested traffic calming
measures installed at Clinton Street and Hudson Street to slow traffic down for diners.
ICHABOD'S LANDING BULKHEAD DESIGN: There was a discussion about the Ichabod's

the bu khead. The Board is in favor of option two which calls for rip rap being installed the
entire length of the bulkhead.

° R R O U T E 9 C U L V E R T PROJECT: Mr. Giaccio asked permission to
solicit bids for the Route 9 Culvert project. Hahn Engineering has completed bid documents and
the Board needs to authorize the bid process to move forward. Mayor Wray requested that this
item be on the next Board meeting agenda.

MEMORIAL BENCH REQUEST: The Board reviewed a request from Leslie Camilleri to
install a memorial bench along the river walk on Riverside Drive. Mr. Camilleri would like to
donate the bench in honor of his wife who passed away from Covid last year. The Board was in
favor of approving this request. Mayor Wray asked Deputy Mayor Scaglione and Trustee Gebler
to help choose an appropriate location for the bench.
APPROVE ENGINEER FOR BEEKMAN AVENUE SIDEWALK PROJECT: The Board
reviewed a proposal from WSP Engineering for oversee the Beekman Avenue Sidewalk Project
The Board asked several questions regarding the scope of the project and asked Mr. Giaccio to
provide the plans. Mayor Wray requested that this item be on the next Board meeting agenda

�CHANGE ORDER FOR CONTINENTAL STREET SEWER PROJECT- Mr Giaccio
informed the Board that there will be several ehange orders related to the C o L ^ t a l s " e ,
Sewer Project. The cost of these change orders is not yet known and so the matter was tabled.

ROUTE 9 STUDY: Trustee Rodriguez started the discussion about the Route 9 study that was
done in conjunction with Hastings, Dobbs Ferry, Irvington and Tarrytown and funded through
the community benefits program. The next phase of the project is to apply for grant funding to
implement recommendations made in the study. Mayor Wray said that the Village has worked
hard to establish a working relationship with the New York State Department of Transportation
and feels that this project may jeopardize progress made to improve Route 9. Some aspects of
the study have not been endorsed by the Village Board either. Discussion ensued.
MURAL AT SYKES PARK: Trustee Gebler started the discussion regarding a proposed
playground mural at Sykes Park. Trustee Gebler had previously sent the Board with examples
of playground art. The Board was in favor of this idea.
MAYOR'S ANNOUNCEMENT: Mayor Wray said that the Village is expecting to receive a
little more than a million dollars from the ARPA Coronavirus Local Fiscal Recovery Fund How
the Village will spend this money will be discussed at a future work session.

Motion was made by Trustee Spiro, seconded by Trustee Gebler to go into executive session to
discuss contract negotiations. Motion passed 5-0
