Resolution of the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Sleepy Hollow Approving Request for Block Party
Whereas, the Mayor and Board of Trustees received a request from Hal Muchnick of
Farrington Ave, to hold a block party on Saturday, September 11, 2021, and
Whereas, the Block party, would take place on Farrington Ave, between Bellwood
Avenue and Munroe Avenue, from 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm
Now, Therefore, Be It Resolved that the Board of Trustees approves the request
made by Hal Muchnick, to hold a block party on Saturday, September 11, from 5-00pm
to 11:00pm, with a rain date of October 2 th ,
Be It Further Resolved the Board of Trustees directs the Chief of Police to coordinate
the public safety issues with the applicant, if necessary.

Whereas, the Mayor and Board of Trustees received a request from Jack Tornello, of
the Sleepy Hollow Fire Department Bingo Committee, to hold a free spaghetti and meat
Dans dinner at the James Galgano Senior Center on Saturday, October 9 th from 3-OOom
top 7:00pm, and

Whereas, the Bingo Committee would like to extend this invitation to the local seniors
and community for their support.
