NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and Board of Trustees of the Village of Sleepy Hollow hereby approve Mr. Arone's recommendation of Karyme Briones of Tarrytown, to be hired effective September 27, 2021 at an hourly rate of $16.50, and be under the supervision of Mr. Arone, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED a background check for this applicant has been completed and is satisfactory. In order to keep the appropriate ratio of staff per participant, we need to fill vacancies. I have been given directive by the village board to interview individuals for these vacancies. I have interviewed and checked references for a candidate who is bilingual and qualified. She is a local (Tarrytown) resident, graduate of Sleepy Hollow High School and recent college graduate. Please submit the following after school staff appointment to the board of trustees for review and approval. Note that the salary/hourly rate listed has been sufficiently appropriated for in the 2021/22 after school budget.
