Chairman Nazemetz stated that due to the Holidays the next meeting of the Board would be held on Wednesday, December 1st, 1999 at 8 P.M. J 1. JEANNE B, CAPPIELLO, 174 Highland Avenue, Addition to First Floor, Second floor and one car detached garage. Mr. McCutcheon, Architect for the project presented Plans and pictures of the house as it is presently and drawings showing the proposed additions and garage. He stated that the house was previously owned by Mr. Kennison and is at the corner of Highland and Munroe Avenue in Philipse Manor. He stated that the house was built in 1920 and various repairs need^ to be done as some of the wood has deteriorated. Mrs. Cappiello, a relative of Mr. Kennison inherited the house and would like to add on and erect a garage. Mr. McCarthy moved, seconded by Mr. Falasca to open the meeting for public comments. Carried. There being no public comments, Mr. Nazemetz moved, seconded by Mr. McCarthy to close the meeting for public comments. Carried. Discussion followed regarding the carport that was damaged by a storm and had to be removed, size of proposed garage and distance from residence, the width and length of proposed driveway, and it was suggested that the applicant might wish to erect a two-car garage instead of a one-car garage. Ms. Fina suggested that raised panel doors be installed on the garage. Mr. Falasca moved, seconded by Mr. McCarthy that the application for the addition and the erection of a one-car garage be approved as submitted, and the applicant install; xaised panel door on the garage, and if they decide to erect a two-car garage they return for approval. Carried. �** -22. : JOHN CABECA, BEEKMAN AVENUE & CLINTON STREET-SIX-FAMILY BUILDING CONTINUATION. Architect Sam Viera presented revised plans and drawings and stated this was a continuation of a presentation made at the September meeting. He stated that he made revisions to the drawings as requested rjy the Board and asked that they be approved. Mr. Nazemetz moved, seconded by Mr. McCarthy to open the meeting for public comments. Carried. There being no public comments Mr. Falasca moved, seconded by Mr. McCarthy to close the meeting for public comments. Carried. Discussion followed regarding Zoning Board- requirements and the various changes made. Mr. Viera stated that the trim would be painted wood, stairrases were changed to come out on Beekman Avenue and made to match various buildings in the area. He stated that steel studs would be used covered by plywood sheething and stock bay windows would be installed. He stated that the ixu\ld^ncj would be approxiirately twenty-five feet from the front property lime on Beekman Avenue. Mr. Viera also sqted there would be two ground floor apartments which would be handicapped accessible. Mr. Falasca moved, seconded by Ms. Aloia to approve the revised plans as submitted. Carried. MINUTES Mr. McCarthy moved, seconded by Ms. Fina to accept the minutes of the meeting held on July 28th, 1999 as presented. Carried. Mr. Nazemetz moved, seconded by Ms. Aloia to accept the minutes of the meeting held on September 22nd, 1999 as presented. Carried. There being no further business to come before the Board, Mr. Nazemetz moved, seconded by Ms. Fina that the same be duly adjourned.
