                  <text>The Board of Trustees of the Village of Sleepy Hollow held a meeting on Tuesday,
December 14, 2021 at Village Hall, 28 Beekman Avenue, Sleepy Hollow, New York.

At 7:02 p.m., Acting Mayor-Trustee Gebler, called the meeting to order with a pledge to the
flag and a moment of silence for residents; Carl Gerlanc of Tappan Ave, 94yo, Suzette
Feldman of Kendal Way, 90yo; Fernando Sisto of Kendal Way,97yo, Katherine C. Gallagher
of Kendal Way, 83yo; and Lillian Hogan of Webber Ave, 86yo. Our thoughts are with their
family and friends.
Public Hearing: De-Mapping a Section of Ridge Street
Village Clerk McCarthy read the public hearing notice aloud for the record.
Trustee Gebler opened the public hearing to the public and invoked the 3-minute rule.
Mark Vaughn of 1 Ridge Street addressed the Chair and the Board of Trustees and stated an
agreement had been arranged with his neighbors. (See attached)
There were no comments at this time.
A brief discussion ensued amongst Board members. Building Inspector, Sean McCarthy,
confirmed that The Village has no interest in this portion of Ridge Street.
On a motion by Trustee Andruss, seconded by Trustee Spiro, the Board of Trustees moved to
close the public hearing. Motion carried.
Approval of Warrants;
On a motion by Trustee Andruss, seconded by Trustee Rodriguez, the warrant of
$651,819.87 was approved and the Village Treasurer was allowed to pay bills in this amount.
Motion Carried.

�Mayor's Announcements:
Trustee Gebler announced that currently there are 35 active covid-19 cases in our Village.
There is a vaccine clinic at the Senior Center on December 18th and January 8th. Anyone can
sign up, information is available on our website.
The SHPBA is still collecting toys for their Toy Drive, may drop off at Village Hall or visit our
website for additional locations.
There is a free Cooking with the Community Event coming up at the Senior Center, contact
Diana Loja to sign up.

Resolutions:
R1 - Approve Polar Bear Plunge Fundraiser
R2 - Approve Waiving Building Department Fees for Heat Pumps
R3 - Approve Waiving Building Department Fees for Lighthouse
R4 - Approve Relinquishing a Portion of Ridge Street
Communications:
Village Clerk McCarthy stated that the 2022 village calendar would be out in the mail this
week.

Trustee Gebler, opened the meeting to the public for comments and invoked the 3 minute
rule. There were no comments at this time.
At 7:25 pm on a motion by Trustee Rodriguez, seconded by Trustee Andruss the Board
moved to go into Executive Session to discuss a personnel matter.
On a motion Trustee Rodrigues, seconded by Trustee Spiro, the Board moved out of
Executive Session.
At 7:35pm, on a motion by Trustee Rodriguez, seconded by Trustee Andruss the meeting
was adjourned.
