Village of Sleepy Hollow
A work session of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Sleepy Hollow was held on Tuesday.
Dec. 21,2021 at 7:00PM at Sleepy Hollow Village Hall 28 Beekman Ave., Sleepy Hollow, N.Y.

Deputy Mayor Scaglione called the work session to order at 7:00 p.m.
ARCH FOR KIDS: The Board reviewed an invoice from Arch for Kids. Arch for Kids is an
educational company that believes in a hands-on, minds-on approach to learn in the areas of
architecture, design, engineering and urban planning. Arch For Kids recently ran a program at
the senior center for school aged children encouraging them to come up with designs for various
locations in the Village. The Village sponsored this event.
SNOW AND ICE AGREEMENT: The Board reviewed a draft snow and ice agreement with
the State of New York. The agreement entitles the Village to receive funds from the State to
maintain State roads within the Village during the winter. The Board was amenable to approving
this agreement.
SPECIAL SESSION
Motion was made by Trustee Andruss, seconded by Trustee Gebler, to go into special session.
Motion passed 4-0
WARRANT: Motion was made by Trustee Rodriguez, seconded by Trustee Andruss to approve
warrant 21DEC21 in the amount of $2,073,351.68. Motion passed. 4-0
Motion was made by Trustee Gebler, seconded by Trustee Andruss at approve a resolution to
hire three police officers. Motion passed 4-0
Motion was made by Trustee Rodriguez, seconded by Trustee Gebler at approve a resolution to
hire one police officer Spanish Speaking. Motion passed 4-0

�Motion was made by Trustee Andruss, seconded by Trustee Rodriguez, to approve a resolution
to promote at water department employee. Motion passed 4-0
Motion was made by Trustee Gebler, seconded by Trustee Andruss at approve a resolution to
hire a crossing guard. Motion passed 4-0
Motion was made by Trustee Rodriguez, seconded by Trustee Andruss to approve a resolution to
hire a parking enforcement officer, Motion passed 4-0
Motion was made by Trustee Andruss, seconded by Trustee Gebler, to approve a resolution to
hire a part-time recreation assistant for the after-school program. Motion passed 4-0
Motion was made by Trustee Gebler, seconded by Trustee Rodriguez at approve the Arch For
Kids program at a cost of $1,000. Motion passed 4-0
Motion was made by Trustee Rodriguez, seconded by Trustee Andruss to approve a resolution
related to a snow and ice agreement with New York State. Motion passed 4-0
Motion was made by Trustee Andruss, seconded by Trustee Gebler, to approve a resolution
related to an easement agreement with Historic Hudson Valley. Motion passed 4-0
Motion was made by Trustee Gebler, seconded by Trustee Andruss to come out of special
session. Motion passed 4-0.
At 7:17 p.m. the work session was adjourned.
