be held in-person, but residents may participate through ZOOM as well.
PUBLIC WORKS GARAGE PRESENTATION: Peter Coombe and David Hess of Sage and
Coombe architects made a presentation on the proposed new Department of Public Works
facility.
MAYOR'S ANNOUNCMENT: The Mayor announced that Covidl9 vaccines will be
available at the senior center this Saturday from 8:00am-1:00pm.
ICHABOD'S LANDING BULKHEAD: There was a discussion about the Ichabod's Landing
bulkhead that needs to be repaired. A grant application for this project was recently denied. The
Board committed funds to pay for the project design and was hoping to receive the grant to help
pay for the construction costs. The Board discussed financing the construction costs anyway and
is interested in putting the project out to bid once all the necessary permits are obtained.
TREE ORDINANCE: The Board discussed approving a new tree ordinance. A public hearing
on this matter was recently closed. The Board was in favor of approving the new ordinance.
DECORATIVE LIGHTS ON BEEKMAN AVENUE: DPW Superintendent, Kevin Smith
joined the discussion regarding installing decorative lights on certain trees along Beekman
Avenue. The lights came at the request of some Village Board members. The lights and
installation are getting costly and so Mr. Smith wanted the rest of the Board to be aware of this.
The Board as a whole had no objection to continuing with this project.

BUS SHELTER INTER-MUNICPAL AGREEMENT: The Board reviewed a draft intermunicipal with Westchester County related to the two County owned bus shelters in Sleepy
Hollow. The County sells advertising at these bus shelters and the Village is entitled to receive
proceeds from this. The inter-municipal agreement outlines the responsibility of both the County
and Village and how the revenue is shared. This is a five-year renewal agreement. The Board
had no objection to approving this agreement.
TUITION REIMBURSEMENT FOR POLICE CHIEF: The Board reviewed a request from
Police Chief Bueti to be reimbursed for tuition costs. The Board was in favor of approving this
request.
NORTHEAST RECREATION AGREEMENT: The Board reviewed a draft inter-agency
agreement with Northeast Recreation to provide special recreation services. Northeast
Recreation is a consortium made up of several municipalities that provide special recreation for
residents the reside in a participating community. The total annual cost to participate is
$7,762.78. This is a renewal agreement. The Board was in favor of approving this agreement.
MAYOR'S ANNOUNCMENTS: The Mayor again announced that Board meetings will
continue to be held in-person, but residents may participate through ZOOM as well.
At 8:15 p.m. the work session was adjourned.
