Ms. Santo announced that Gordon Swartz has replaced Isabel Mendez on the Planning Board. Present: Lisa Santo, Chairwoman Ed McCarthy Sandra Spiro Gordon Swartz Carl Aridas Hugh Jones Anthony DelVecchio (Absent) Also Present: Sean McCarthy, Village Architect Clinton Smith, Village Attorney James Natarelli (Dolph Rotfeld Engineering/Consulting Engineer) David Smith, Village Planner Anthony Giaccio, Recording Secretary Agenda 1) Sleepy Hollow Local Development Corp. - 60 Continental Street, Site filling and operations permit, Continued Public Hearing. 1) Sleepy Hollow Local Development Corp. - 60 Continental Street, Continued Public Hearing David Smith provided a power point presentation that described the project. The Sleepy Hollow Local Development Corporation (LDC) has submitted a fill permit application to bring approximately 100,000 yards of clean fill onto the East Parcel. The project also includes a rock crushing operation. The East Parcel property will require clean fill in order to be redeveloped. The fill and rock crushing will be provided at no charge to the LDC, which will save the Village a significant amount of money. The project could take up to 8 months to complete. Motion to open the public hearing Moved: Spiro Absent: DelVecchio Seconded: Aridas Vote: 6-0 �Martina Brown spoke. She lives on Pleasant Street and is concerned about the truck traffic on Continental Street. She is concerned about noise, dust and quality of life issues. She is also concerned about safety since many children live in that area. Ann Tiffany Atlas asked if the truck traffic can be limited during school hours. She is also concerned about the quality of the fill. Kevin Donovan is concerned about children's safety. He said that there are many buried utilities on Continental Street that could be damaged by the truck traffic. There were no more comments The Board responded to the concerns of the neighbors and recommended restricting hours of the truck traffic. Discussion ensued.
