Chairman Martone introduced the applicant. Engineer Mark Gratz summarized the project. Lighthouse Landing Venture's LLC has proposed a plan to stockpile approximately 250,000 cubic yards of clean fill at 199 Beekman Avenue. A temporary bridge will need to be constructed over the Beekman Avenue Bridge. Seven on-street parking spaces will be lost. The applicant agreed to provide ten parking spaces in its parking lot to compensate for the lost on-street parking. The chain link fence will be removed and screening will be installed. Ms. Spiro asked about the number of truck loads that there will be. Peter Johnson of LLV responded by saying about 15,000 over the course of 9 to 15 months. Motion to open the public comments: Moved: Aridas Seconded: Jones Vote: 7-0 James West is concerned about the truck traffic and asked of there was an alternative to bringing the fill to the site. Peter Johnson said that bringing fill in by rail or barge is prohibitive. Motion to close the public comments: Moved: Mendez Seconded: DelVecchio Vote: 7-0 �The Board discussed the proposed resolution. The applicant's attorney Mark Weingarten objected to the insurance requirement as it relates to consultants. Mr. Weingarten said that his client wasn't given enough time to discuss this requirement with his insurance company. The matter was debated. Mr. Weingarten said that his client will agree to the insurance requirements if consultants can be covered by his insurance.
