Chairman Galgano called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m.
and asked the clerk to read the public notice to all present
regarding the subdivision of Rose Maffucci's property. This
public hearing was for the purpose of approving or disapproving
Rose Maffucci's application for subdivision of her property
at 136 Cortlandt Street, North Tarrytown, New York, known as
Section 16, Block 10, Lot 17, and James and Sadie Price's
application for subdivision of their property at 15 Hudson
Terrace, North Tarrytown, New York, known as Section 17, Block 12,
Lot 2.
Chairman Galgano asked if anyone present had any comments
on Rose Maffucci's subdivision of her property. Janet Gandolfo
noted that Rose Maffucci wanted to subdivide her propaty in
order for h&amp;r to sell the garage which is located at the rear
of her property. As all were in favor, a motion to subdivide
was made by John O'Leary, seconded by Raymond Dool, and was
carried by a unanimous vote.
Chairman Galgano asked the clerk to read the second public
notice to all present regarding subdivision of James and Sadie
Price's property.
Chairman Galgano asked if anyone present was for or against
said subdivision. As no one replied in the negative, a motion
to subdivide was made by Raymond Dool, seconded by John O'Leary,
and was carried by a unanimous vote.
BUSINESS MEETING
Jehu C'Leary brought to the attention of the committee
the following three points which he stated he will discuss
with the mayor: The cleaning of Beekman Avenue, the large
number of gas stations and auto repair establishments within
the village, and the re-location of Morse School possibly
to Peabody Field.
It was decided that the next meeting will be held on
July 31, 1986.
A motion to adjourn t o n i g h t ' s m e e t i n g was made by
Frank Rey, seconded by Raymond Dool and unanimously p a s s e d .

the local Historic Architectural Review Board as an
historic landmark or district and the said subdivision
complies with all regional, state and local land use
plans;

�NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED:
1.

The subdivision of the property as above

described is an unlisted action pursuant to Article
8 of the Environmental Conservation Law and Part 617
of the Rules and Regulations promulgated thereunder,
and will, in and of itself, not have a significant
effect on the environment, so that no Environmental
Impact Statement is required or need be filled
therefor.
2.

Nothing herein contained, however, shall

be deemed to indicate or suggest that subsequent
submissions for development of the property will
not require the preparation and filing of Environmental Impact Statements.
3.

This resolution is a Negative Declaration

for the purposes of Article 8 of the Environmental
Conservation Law, Local Law Environmental Quality
Review Act for the Village of North Tarrytown, and
will be kept on file at the Village Hall and be
available for public examination.
