Enclosed please find copy of letter from Janes and Victor
Albanese, owner* of the Pickwick Post Restaurant, 3*8 North
Broadway, which is self-explanatory.
On Monday* December 1tht a public hearing was held regarding
a proposed amendment to the soning ordinance, but no aotion was '
taken by the Board. The Board of Trustee* would like you to
review the area and submit recommendations to the Board.
The Board of Trustees, at their matting hold on December '.
also received a request from a Mr. Robert Linger, a copy of whi
is encloeed, requesting a change in the soning ordinance on
Baekman Avenue. Mr. Langer is interested in reopening the Strar
Theater.
The Board of Trustees would like the Planning Board to revi„,
the present soning on Baekman Avenue, Cortlandt Street and Valley
Street with a view towards the relief of off-street parking.
The Board will appreoiata any recommendations you may of far
in the above requests.
