After duly published notice, a public hearing was held
by the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of North Tarrytown,
N.Y. on the above date.

Chairman Friore called the hearing to order at 8:00 P.M. and
read the notice of hearing published in the official newspaper of
the Village, as follows:
"PLEASE TAKE_NOTICE that the Zoning Board of Appeals^of J;he
Village of North Tarrytown will hold a public hearing at 8:00 P.M.
on August 23, 1961, at the Municipal Building, 28 Beekman Avenue,
North Tarrytown, N.Y., to consider the following application
for a variance from the provisions of the Zoning Ordinance of the
Village of North Tarrytown.
The application of John R. and Mafalda A. Tornello for a
variance from the provisions of Section 9 - Setback Building Lines ~
and for permission to construct a one family dwelling which shall
be sotback ten (10) feet from the front property line on property
known and designated on the tax map of the Village of North Tarrytown
as Section 17, Block 9, Lot 3A, located on the north side of
Maple Street.
All taxpayers, residents and parties in interest are entitled
to appear and be heard."
Messrs. Page and Gross stated that they inspected the premises.
No one appeared for or against the variance requested.
John Gross moved, seconded by David Page that Mr. &amp; Mrs.
Tornello be granted permission to construct a one family dwelling
to a point within ten feet of the front property line on property
known as Section 17, Block 9 and Lot 3A.
Carried.
A check in the amount of $15.58 was received from the Tornellos
for the advertisement fee.
David Page moved, seconded by a John Gross that the building
inspector attend all meetings of the Zoning Board of Appeals.
Carried.

-2Comrnunication dated August 9, 1961 from Mr, Fitzgerald,
attorney for Mary Abrams, regarding application for variance on
Section 15, Block 2, Lot 9 6-. 9B was read. It was requested that
the owner submit a plot plan before any action is taken.
There being no further business to come before the hearing,
David Page moved, seconded by John Gross that the same be duly
adj ourned. Carried.
