                  <text>NORTH TARRYTOWN, N.Y.
June'14, 1973
Two zoning hearings were held before the Zoning Board of
Appeals of the Village of North Tarry town, N.Y. on the above date.
Present

James Friere, Chairman
Thomas Connelly
James Margotta
Peter Esteban
John Arcate
Sante J. Chessari, Counsel

Chairman Friere called the hearings to order at 8:00 P.M.
Counsel Chessari read the notice of hearing to consider the
request of Marjorie Branciforte, 39 Elm Street, North Tarrytown, N.Y.
to erect a front porch within nine feet, instead of the required
ten feet for side yards.
Mr. Friere asked if there was anyone present who would like
to address the Board on the proposed variance.
No one appearing for or against the variance, Mr. Peter
Esteban moved,
seconded by Mr. James Margotta that Marjorie
1
Branciforte s request for a variance from the side yard1requirements
be approved on property known as Section 15, Block 6, Lot 6. Variance
granted is for two feet on one side and seven feet on the other. Carried.
Counsel Chessari read notice of hearing to consider a request
of C. A. Valieris, Inc. for permission to install a third floor'
apartment, as well as a variance fromthe lot.area, setback and
side yard clearance and parking requirements on Section 16, Block 8,
Lot 10 and 11.
Mr. Margotta stated that he doubts if Mr. Cavalieri can do
anything with the lot. He will not be able to sell it separately.
Mr. Cavalieri stated that he would sell both properties.
Mr. Friere stated that the property has to be self-contained
for parking. Variances have been turned down before, said Mr. Friere,
because a parking lot has to belong to the house.
Following a discussion, Mr. Friere stated that the Board will
have to study the'matter further a"nri he will be notified of the results.
Mr. Esteban moved, seconded by Mr. Margottaj'that the meeting
be adjourned.
Carried.
Respectfully submitted,

Filoinena Fallacaro
Clerk
