was present.

The Chair read the public notice aloud for the record.
The Chair asked if the proof of mailings was submitted.
Sean McCarthy responded yes.
The Chair stated that the Board had received the following:
1) Application
2) Survey received April 13, 2011
Thomas Walek stated that they want to extend the porch over the front entryway. He stated that
the existing landing would covered by the portico.
The Chair stated that the portico would be a 4-foot projection.
Timothy Judge asked if the front steps count in the calculation.
Sean McCarthy responded that the steps count if they are covered.

�The Chair asked if the Board had any questions.
There were none.
The Chair opened the public hearing.
Since there were no public comments, the Chair made a motion to close the public hearing.
Jennifer Lobato-Church seconded. It was unanimous (7-0).
The Chair stated that this is not a self-created hardship. He also stated that this change would not
be detrimental to the community. Lastly, he stated that this is the minimal variance that can be
approved in order to accommodate the needs of the applicant.
The Chair made a motion to approve the application as submitted. Michael Wernick seconded.
It was unanimous (7-0).

2) Minutes for June 2010 and April 2011 The June 2010 minutes were reviewed.
The Chair made a motion to approve the June 2010 minutes as amended. Timothy Judge seconded. It
was unanimous (7-0).

The April 2011 minutes were reviewed.
The Chair made a motion to approve the April 2011 minutes as amended. Timothy Judge seconded. It
was unanimous (7-0).

3) Other There was an open discussion on a letter received from the Moon River Grill.
No action was taken.
