RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
VILLAGE OF SLEEPY HOLLOW, NEW YORK
WHEREAS, a meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Sleepy Hollow was convened
on March 29, 2022, at 7:00 p.m. and
WHEREAS, at such meeting, the following Local Law was duly offered, to wit:

Local Law No. 4 of 2022
A LOCAL LAW AMENDING CHAPTER 400 OF THE CODE OF THE VILLAGE
OF SLEEPY HOLLOW ENTITLED “VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC” CONCERNING
INSTALLATION OF STOP SIGNS ON CRANE AVENUE WESTBOUND AT
ANDERSON AVENUE AND EASTBOUND AT NEW BROADWAY
BE IT ENACTED by the Board of Trustees of the Village of Sleepy Hollow, New
York, as follows:
Section 1. Section 400-5 of the Code of the Village Sleepy Hollow entitled “Stop and
yield intersection” is hereby amended by adding in alphabetical order to subsection A.
thereof entitled “Stop intersection designated”, the following:

Stop sign on

Direction of Travel

At intersection of

Crane Avenue

West

Anderson Avenue

Crane Avenue

East

New Broadway

Section 2. The invalidity of any word, section, clause, paragraph sentence, part, or
provision of this local law shall not affect the validity of any part of this local law which can
be given effect without such invalid part or parts.
Section 3. This Local Law shall take effect immediately upon filing in the Office of
the Secretary of State.
WHEREAS, on motion of Trustee Rodriguez and seconded by Trustee Andruss, the above
local law was approved. Vote was unanimous.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that this resolution is hereby approved this 12th
day of April, 2022.
